Owing to the proximity to all amenities such as restaurants, a bank, post office, supermarkets, a bus stop and the beach, the location is very convenient and ideal for a relaxing holiday. Balestrate is also a convenient starting point for visiting the many places of interest in Sicily, which are all nearby. Palermo, Monreale with its art treasures, Trapani and Marsala, known for its salt mines and windmills, the Temple Valley in Agrigento, Segesta with its Greek theatre, Scopello, the Zingaro nature reserve, Erice, Selinunte with the largest archaeological park in Europe.
