Between Latium, Tuscany and Umbria: agriturismo in a panoramic location with a pool
This agriturismo is located in the lovely triangle between three regions, between the gateway to Montefiascone and near the ancient Via Francigena, on a beautiful hill with a church of the same name, built by the architect Antonio da Sangallo the Younger. The five independent guest houses are built and restored in a country style and enjoy a unique panoramic location above Lago di Bolsena. The diverse landscape around Montefiascone stretches to the Tyrrhenian Sea. The houses are of different sizes and are divided into one or more residential units. The complex consists of a total of ten apartments with 40 beds. They have been furnished with a lot of attention to detail. The terracotta floors and wooden beams exude a pleasant atmosphere. Wireless Internet access is available.
The farm is easily accessible by car or by train. Although you can enjoy rural peace and quiet here, the property is in a central location with regard to the village and major transport connections. The Montefiascone train station, in the village of Zepponami, is about 5km from the farm. It is 90km to Rome, 28km to Orvieto and 4km to Lago di Bolsena. The centre of Montefiascone is 3.5km away.
In the garden and on site there are a swimming pool with a panoramic view, a private car park, a grill area, a terrace with a fantastic view of Montefiascone and of the Tyrrhenian Sea on the horizon. There is also a small chestnut forest with benches for a picnic. Dogs must be kept on the leash.
700 metres away you can find shops such as a bakery, a grocery shop, a fruit and vegetable shop, a butcher, a bar and a tobacconist.
Two new holiday flats have recently been created from the renovation of the old manor house at the foot of the hill.
It is also possible to rent the Casa Maria flat, so that the whole family can be accommodated, for a total of twelve people.
The smaller flat can accommodate up to five people and has a bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed for one person, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room with a sofa bed for two people and a sitting room with a fireplace, TV and access to the balcony.
