About this house rental

Experience a holiday in an authentic monument - your holiday home Experience a historical ambience combined with the luxury of our time. The holiday home, built around 1630, has been listed as a historical monument. Lovingly and sustainably restored and furnished, it offers you an unforgettable stay. Situated in the centre of the UNESCO World Heritage town of Quedlinburg, you can reach the railway station, organic food shop, bank, post office, market square or the collegiate church of St. Servatius on the castle hill in just a few minutes on foot.

The interior consists mainly of restored furniture and high-quality handmade individual pieces. On the ground floor is the hallway, the bathroom with toilet and the bedroom with double bed (180 x 200 cm). A staircase leads to the upper floor with combined living and kitchen area.
A sofa bed (160 x 200 cm) offers the possibility of a comfortable extra bed, so that the accommodation can be used for 4 people. We supply our house with electricity from 100% renewable sources through Greenpeace Energy. A modern wall heating system, which is operated by a highly efficient and low-emission natural gas condensing boiler, provides pleasant warmth. The clay plaster used in all rooms contributes to the natural regulation of humidity and thus to a healthy indoor climate. By using organic building and insulation materials, we have contributed to the sustainable refurbishment of the building.

Quedlinburg, situated on the Romanesque Road, is the ideal starting point for excursions to the numerous sights of the Harz region, such as neighbouring Thale with the hiking area around the wildly romantic Bode Valley, the collegiate church in the Quedlinburg district of Gernrode, one of the most important Ottonian architectural monuments in Germany.

Relax and enjoy the beauty of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Quedlinburg and its surroundings.
