Located on crossroads, very noisy from car traffic

Both the island and the guesthouse were lovely. I loved the wooden houses so sleeping inside one was like having a special ethnographic experience into the lives of Hiiumaa locals. I walked everywhere though I think there are buses and also parking spaces. The place was only 5 minutes away one of the bus stops from the bus that comes from Tallinn which was perfect. It was also 5 minutes from the town square with a supermerket and some restaurants. I felt extremely safe everywhere as a solo woman. Its was such a peaceful place and the house was beautiful.

The bathroom pipes smelled a bit bad in the morning, nothing a air freshener or some candles can't fix.

Not a word was mentioned in the ad that there would be a breakfast available. I prepared for having to go to a grocery store to buy something to eat in the morning the day after arrival. A receptionist however came to ask me shortly after arrival whether I'd like breakfast the day after for an extra fee of EUR 5. I had pancakes, porridge, sandwiches with salmon and cheese, and orange juice and coffee. Very nice and kind.

The bed was too hard. I could hardly sleep.
