This Country Cottage is situated in a quiet and beautiful wooded area southeast of downtown Kansas City. It is on one level, has key-less access and private parking. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a sofa sleeper in the living area to comfortably sleep 6. Guests will enjoy a full, well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and outdoor living space. With an open layout it has a spacious and welcoming feel. The large master bedroom has a king-size bed, 2 closets, and master bath with a shower and jetted tub, as well as 2 sinks. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, a desk and closet, and access to the second bathroom, which has a shower. There is also access to the second bathroom from the hall. Both bathrooms are large and have large counters and mirrors and lots of storage.
The Cottage is separated from the residence of the owners by a 3-car garage. There are no additional homes on the property.

This was our second stay at this charming country cottage. It’s the perfect weekend escape with friends to unwind and relax. Both times have been a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cottage was spotless, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. It truly felt like a home away from home.The location is peaceful, convenient, and exactly what we were looking for. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home that made our stay feel extra special.Our hosts, Lesli and Gordon, are fantastic. They made every part of our stay seamless, from check-in to check-out. It’s clear they genuinely care about providing an exceptional experience for their guests, and that attention to detail truly sets them apart. Thank you for another wonderful and memorable stay. we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The Cottage was the perfect home base for our group attending a nearby wedding. The property was incredibly clean, beautifully appointed, and welcoming. The owner, Lesli (who lives on the adjacent house), greeted us with amazing cookies upon arrival. We absolutely loved sitting on the wraparound porch at night listening to the frogs and owls. The location is excellent for exploring Kansas City and the towns to the east. Highly recommended

This property is the perfect combination of country and city. The location is secluded and peaceful, but is within a short drive of many restaurants and shops! The hosts are so nice, and the house is extremely comfortable and charming. It was the perfect stay and we will definitely be back.
