The house was as-expected and clean. Kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and hot tub worked well. Location about a 10-minute walk from the village center where there are some restaurant options. Some things rough around the edges: It was hot downstairs where three of the bedrooms are (the A/C seemed unresponsive to the thermostat at that level); Microwave didn't work (they offered to send maintenance to look but we declined); bathroom sink drained poorly; no info on location of the gym which we had to figure out ourselves. The Vacasa text-bot was frustrating, e.g. I asked them where the gym was and the response was simply that no location was listed in the property information (yes I know, that's why I asked); lots of canned replies.

We recently stayed at this property with another family and I think we would gladly stay there again. There were some Pros and Cons about this place that I wish I would have known when booking. Pros- -location is great, only about a 5 minute walk to the base. It's a little uphill going, but not too bad. When booking I was told it was .7 miles and it's much closer than that. - on demand shuttle. We were never told about this in conversations with Vacasa. When going to the mountain you can stand outside the place and shuttles come by every 5-10 minutes or you can call it to come take you anywhere in Steamboat. That was great. We got a couple of full lockers at the base that probably weren't needed because of the shuttle. -size. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and had plenty of room. Bedrooms are sizeable as are the bathrooms. The bunk room is small. We had two 12 yr old boys in there and I wouldn't go much older than that for that room. -kitchen. We had a small gathering of adults to celebrate a birthday and the kitchen was great for hosting. Plenty of dishes, flatware and cooking utensils. - view. Back looks out over the sunset behind the mountains. Pretty awesome. - hot tub with privacy Cons- -it's a little dated. Most things in Steamboat are that way and that's totally fine, but you can see where they have updated things (kitchen) and where they haven't (basement, bedroom TVs, exterior areas). There's actually an elevator in the unit which would be great if it worked. But none of this would keep us from returning. It's probably newer than 80% of the things in Steamboat though. - getting into the unit can be tricky. There were only two keys and you have to have one whether you come through the gate at the stairway or through the garage. You also may need to know multiple codes. Another area where the HOA could update things.. -Vacasa assistance. We only texted with their help number and they were responsive, but they actually never helped with what we were looking for (fireplaces, dishwasher pods, hot tub filter stopped working, etc). Again, none of those were huge other than the hot tub, but that was the last night of our trip.

This is the second time we have stayed in the Atrium complex. Great spacious property with excellent and convenient access to ski area.

We loved the house. It’s well set up for families. Maintenance needs to do some work in the hot tub. It went out twice during our stay and they only came over the first time. Other than that it’s great.
