The views from the house are superb and the area is lovely. The house was an excellent base from which to visit Ponte de Lima, Viana de Castelo, Valenca and over the border into Galicia. The property is in a very tranquil and peaceful area. Helder and Gloria (the house manager) were very helpful with recommendations of what to see and things to do in the area. The house is very spacious with beautiful views from the bedroom windows. We enjoyed watching the cows and goats pass by.
You definitely need a car to stay here. The access to the property is steep, a bit hairy. The nearest cafe/restaurant was a ten minute drive away.
