Boutique Apartments in the Heart of Madrid

In the middle of the city, very walkable. AC in the bedroom was nice for the hot summer and there were two big windows and a balcony off of the kitchen and living room for air in the evenings and lots of natural light. Also had a washing machine and full kitchen which is very nice for a longer stay and they allow dogs at the property. 10/10.

Location 11/10. 3 minutes walk to Plaza Mayor!!!. Very comfortable apartment, light and extremly CLEAN. Excellent staff Jen knowing english which is not very often in Madrid. Luggage room very useful! Big and clean kitchen. Separate room for families. Only one bolt drive to the Retiro park. Everything else is walkable. We dont use metro or bus!

Almost nothing! Not so cheap but normal price for a heart of Madrid, 190 eur per day in the old building normal for a historical European city. No Fan. Please buy.

The location of the accommodation is simply second to none. Located in walking distance(10min-15min) from most central attraction and landmarks such as Plaza Mayor, Puerto del Sol, Royal Palace, Prado museum and of course many more in the area. The facilities are if a good quality kitchen especially had everything one does need.Commnication with the host was easy and reliable.

The apartment is dilapidated and very basic, it has everything you might Need but it is old and in need of various improvements and repairs. From leaking showers to old furniture etc. Do not expect views as there are none. Overall ok but will not return as the location alone does not justify value for money

The location

The shower leaked water easily leading to pools of water getting created with no way to drain them. Only 2 towels provided with no easy way to dry them. The flat is quite cold except for the bedroom due to it having AC. The hot water is provided using a tank which means that water can go cold during a shower and it takes a long time to get back some hot water, so each person must shower quickly and then wait an hour or so to make sure the next one will have enough hot water. Circuit breaker also tripped twice during my stay, first time it was unknown why as we came back to the flat and all power was out so had to contact the host who instructed to reset the electrical box. Second time was while using the electric kettle. This means the host has a very low electric load contracted for the flat, they should increase this to a more acceptable amount to avoid the discomfort this causes for guests. I would even say avoid if visiting during winter as Madrid can get quite cold over night which makes these problems worse. Only one set of keys provided and no one nearby to provide a second set, should just provide 2 in advance if there is more than 1 guest.
