About this house rental
Heaton Cottage is located in the grounds of the historic Heaton Lodge. The house has been renovated and is a spacious and comfortable setting for families and groups to enjoy the Mudgee area. It is located in a quiet garden setting with access to the Cudgegong river.
We have a stunning private river frontage that is available to our guests. There is a fire pit to enjoy in the winter months.
An easy 10 minute walk to Mudgee central where you can explore a wide selection of cafes, pubs and interesting shops.
The main house has 3 bedrooms, a large living room and sunroom plus kitchen and 2 bathrooms. There is an additional 2 bedrooms across a small courtyard in an adjacent building with its own bathroom. A final bedroom - bedroom 6 is located on the other side of the courtyard. Please see a basic map in the photo gallery.
All linen is provided - breakfast is included for the first night

Welcoming and well represented. We arrived to a beautiful full fridge for breakfast, as well as a stunning property and surrounds. It property catered for every eventually and need. As well as offering many little notes for convenience and understanding along the way. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and everything was intuitively there.

Julie was very easy to communicate with. The house is beautifully presented and very clean. Amenities all great and great location. We loved our family weekend. It was a very hot weekend and the bedrooms all had fans which helped.

Our stay at Julie’s property was absolutely excellent. The property was maintained beautifully and her service was fantastic. We will be recommending this day to our friends and family and hope to come back again one day.
