Bandera/Pipe Creek House on Medina River-Large Deck with beautiful view

Our family of five stayed here over Christmas. The house is well stocked and comfortable. The deck is a-mazing!! And the walk down to the river is really lovely. Greeted by deer in the morning and early evening. We had a terrific time hanging out on the deck, by the river, and still close to Bandera, Boerne and San Antonio. Suzette was the perfect host and super communicative. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

As soon as we walked it, the house was cooled and felt so comfortable. We headed to the back to see the deck area, and even better than the pictures so beautiful. Everything we needed was available. Such a perfect getaway.

This property had views that were magnificent! We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and time by the river. This was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in and was outfitted with everything we could have ever imagined. Certainly, a place we would return to in the future.

Suzette was a great and helpful hostess. The home and all of the amenities were just as advertised. I was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was with everything I could have possibly needed for meal preparation. I would recommend this property to anyone!

We booked this beautiful property for my son's 11th birthday. He loves the country and wanted to try to fish for his first time. From the moment we walked in we felt comfortable and at home The house is the perfect distance from the road in my opinion and is very cozy, inviting and extremely well stocked with everything you could need. From kitchen ware to face wash, a first aid section including poison oak medicine to Benadryl. I work in pharmacy and was thoroughly impressed! The house was cool, clean, and so comfortable and quaint Honestly the best part was the INCREDIBLE dec! It is gorgeous with ceiling fans, plenty of seating including a picnic table, ceiling fans, a fridge outside, a huge utility fan as well,and breathtaking views.The house also included some pleasant unlisted accomadations like plenty of fun boardgames and an XBox along with satellite cable. The walk down to the river was steep just down the hill, but absolutely worth every step! Oh and my son caught his first fish on his first cast! We were SO elated! He caught a total of seven fish! This home was perfectly situated between my sister's house and the HS my nephew was graduating from. It was a perfect central location for us. The location would be perfect for a secluded weekend getaway under different circumstances. I have stayed in a few places and this one felt most like a home. So welcoming and warm.

A beautiful property with a comfortable house and great views. Wildlife everywhere, including numerous bird species and deer. The host is awesome, she was easy to contact and very informative. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!!

We felt so at home for our Spring Break stay. Remote enough to feel like you’re “in nature” but easy drive to Bandera or Boerne for restaurants & shops. Beautiful views from the deck. Very peaceful!

We spent 2 nights over the Christmas holiday and enjoyed every minute. Check in and out could not have been easier, the host is super responsive and the property is well stocked with anything you may have forgotten to bring with you. We made a full Christmas dinner for 4 in the kitchen and loved the sunsets each night on the huge back deck. The area is so quiet and the deer come right up to the house throughout the day and night. The walk down to the creek through the cleaned and cleared woods was fun as it is a very steep hill. All around great property and we were happy to have to opportunity to enjoy it over the holiday.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet with lots of trees and a great view from the back deck. The home was clean and well-stocked with appliances, utensils and supplies. We stayed there when it was cold, in the low 40s at night. The walk to the creek was nice. Great place for family time and home-cooked meals.

My family enjoyed the experience of staying at property. There was a negative. The driveway was difficult to get in and out.

This was our second stay at this property, and we can’t wait to go back again! Clean, comfortable, well-furnished, peaceful, relaxing, BEAUTIFUL. The whole family loves being here and we’re always sad to leave. Can’t say enough good things about the hosts or the home!

This is a great place to just be away from the city and have the whole family together. During the day they enjoyed playing in the spacious yard, there’s plenty of board games for after dark. Too bad the water level was merely a trickle. They also enjoyed watching the birds and the deer, even the teens participated in the activities!! We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Definitely will be back!!

Toys/games, deers and birds, views in the day and stars at night. So very relaxing we couldn't get enough of the outside back porch,kids and adults enjoyed it and would rent it again.

Awesome 2 bedroom house up atop the hill over the river. Be ready for a fantastic surprise when you keep walking down the driveway. The back deck is great for end of the day relaxation where you can take in the sunset and look out over the surrounding landscape. Close enough to town with a scenic drive through farm/ranch land in between. Friendly and communicative hosts too. Can recommend for a family or 2 couples, with doggies!

Spent our 29th anniversary in Pipe's Creek and absolutely loved the seclusion. Just us, lots of deer (fed them some carrots), birds, and squirrels. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed the property. The back deck, the wooded area before the creek. We wanted a place surrounded by nature and this was great. Drove an hr to Concan because the Medina river was dry. Over all it was great!! If you forget to take something with you the house is likely to have it, it is well equipped.

This place felt like home. The wildlife and river were totally amazing. The host was very responsive to any questions and concerns that we had. The kitchen and house were above and beyond stocked. Pretty much any thing needed for cooking a variety of meals was available in the kitchen. We did not want for anything accept maybe a few board games. Our kids spent a lot of time outside and down in and around the river when it was cool in the mornings and evenings. Would definitely go back!

Great views and the kids enjoyed being outside and and throwing frisbee while watching the deer!

This property was perfect for our 3 day stay. It had everything we needed and more. Suzette was such an amazing host and was able to quickly resolve a small issue we had. The deck has awesome views, and the industrial fan on the porch was perfect to beat the summer heat. It was nice to see the deer come up and eat from the feeder. The kids loved being able to go down to the creek and fish. The water was pretty low in most parts but there was still a spot where it was about knee deep. Definitely a great stay and a great time.

We had a great time at this location. The house is beautifully located, generously stocked and furnished, and the host was very communicative and checked on us frequently.

We enjoyed our stay in the Bandera/Pipe Creek house. We especially enjoyed the deck and view. We did some kayaking on the Guadalupe and Medina rivers not too far from Pipe Creek. We also enjoyed a beer festival hosted by the Bandera Brewery that included 80 Texas breweries and other businesses. Suzette is a super host and was quick to respond to all inquires!

We stayed at Suzette's place with my niece and her family to attend a local graduation. We had all that we needed for an enjoyable, comfortable stay and wish we could have stayed longer! We will certainly return. 😊
