This cozy lakefront cabin provides everything you and your guests need for a memorable vacation. Please note: We are not pet friendly—NO PETS allowed.

This charming 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is perfect for families or small groups up to 5. The sleeping arrangements include a Queen bed and a Twin-over-Double (Full) bunk bed.
The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, stove/oven, and microwave for convenient meal prep. Start your day with morning coffee or unwind with an evening beverage while taking in the lake views from the picnic table just outside your door.
** Please note: Included in the cleaning fee price is damage waiver coverage in place of a traditional damage deposit so you can have a carefree stay. **
The Neighborhood:
Northern Sands Resort is just a short drive from shops, grocery stores, lounges, and restaurants. Must-see local attractions include Tawas Point Lighthouse, Lumberman’s Monument, and Wurtsmith Air Museum.
For outdoor fun, enjoy a canoe trip down the AuSable River or a round of golf at nearby courses. And for a little extra excitement, the Mackinaw City casinos are only a couple of hours away!

We're from Georgia, and we were looking for a place that would have an eclipse rise at maximum coverage at sunrise. What better place than a lake? Well...the Great Lakes are very fickle beasts w.r.t. weather. Nevertheless, after numerous foggy mornings, we got a great view of what we wanted on the day that we needed. The cabin was perfect: directly on the beach, with few other neighbors. Clean. We are big into cooking, so this was also a great place (although bring your own cookware and stop at the store in Oscoda). Dietary needs are pretty lacking in this "neck of the woods". But, Northwoods Steakhouse in East Tawas was great with gluten-free. The cabin was a little toasty in June, but you can get a good breeze with all the windows open.

We enjoyed the little cabin. Everything was comfortable and clean. The beach is great and quiet. This was our second time there.
