Maseria Parco di Castro has lovely buildings and a great pool, with a covered area (important because it rained 2 of our three days here) but no other outdoor covered areas if you wanted to get out of your room. The location was very peaceful, and a nice change from places in the centro storico of other cities. The room was a little on the small side, but the shower was great. Staff responded quickly to a small maintenance request. The breakfast was in a really nice room and had lots of variety and the restaurant was nice as well.
The office was never open - you had to hunt for someone or send a message on Whats App if you needed anything. WiFi didn’t work in the room or breakfast room - only in the courtyard. Google Maps shows wrong location - this isn't the owner's fault, but beware if you are driving there.

Peaceful, quiet
Staff was wonderful!
Also some reviews complained about the food but we had 3 delicious dinners there, very reasonably priced
Nothing really, only complaint was it was hard to find. My iPhone took me to an open construction site on the main road. But I was able to call and the young man in the office sent me a map with the pinned location. All was well, part of the adventure of driving in a foreign country!

the property is beautiful, interesting to walk around and see the animals
the hotel’s party was going long into the night, it was impossible to rest. more outdoor space is needed to sit and spend time.
