Der Bus nach Vail Village hält 30m von der Unterkunft weg - er operiert bis spät abends. Die Unterkunft selber war gross und mit allem was es braucht ausgerüstet.

Das Gebäude selber ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Es hat eine Elektroheizung - reagiert schnell - ist aber auch eine Energieschleuder ... auch wegen der schlechten Isolation.

From homestake condos I got the the best view of the mountains and both LionsHead ,and Vail Villages ,is very peacefull and quiet ,the staf at vail realty was very nice and helpfull ,excelent service good value .

The location was great, right on the Sandstone bus loop, but you WILL get a workout going up and down those stairs to get to and from your room and/or the bus stop - not sure there's any handicap access around. Though we were on the third floor, we were thankfully in Building B, which is in the lower lot and next to the staircase that accesses the street and the bus stop. There was only one other unit's front door on our floor, so it was very private. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a small stove, dishwasher, fridge and plenty of counter space. The bedroom was actually 2 small rooms that split up, but leaving the doors open made it larger. We essentially used that room as a walk-in closet. There were also two full baths which was really nice. There is a balcony with an amazing view of Golden Peak, and the whole back wall of the room is windows, which was really nice (although blinding in the morning!). There was ample parking and we always had a space right in front of our unit.

The cable and internet went out the last couple days - the message on the TV said, "Please make a payment as soon as possible". It came back the morning we left but it was pretty inconvenient not having at least internet since we don't have unlimited data. The couch was also very uncomfortable - it was a small sectional, which is understandable since it's a tiny space, but the sections didn't actually connect and each piece kind of floated around and separated when you sat down. The only other chair was a small leather armchair that wasn't super comfortable to sit and relax in. We didn't spend too much time sitting in the living area because we mostly skied and slept, but it won't be very cozy for someone who spends a lot of the day there. There also isn't a lot of storage space. Again, it's a small apartment, but there was no real closet space to hang stuff in, and when we laid our ski gear out near the fireplace to dry it looked like an explosion most of the time.

even its close from the resort, walking distance of 25 min, it was advertise as with shuttle services wich is not true, they where the town buses, wich take a little to figure out the stops and more convenient lines
