Wonderful property. Second time staying as I have a lot of family on The Vineyard, and we chose this rental again because of the phenomenal location right on Lagoon Pond and also close to downtown VH. Highly reccomend!

Beautiful secluded property, terrific view from the great room and deck, great to kayak in the pond. Barbara was an excellent and attentive host. Was a wonderful base for our family to explore the island.

This was one of the best experiences I have had with VRBO. The home architecturally well designed and is fully stocked with everything you need and more. Everything is really well thought out by the host to optimize your experience. It felt more like home than a rental. The cottage area is a very quiet setting on the lagoon, yet only 6 minutes to the vineyard ferry. The views are extraordinary. The home is elegantly finished and comfortable. There is a small office area with water views if you need to work remote. There are lots of areas to relax and enjoy with an outdoor and indoor dining table and various sitting areas. The private beach and outdoor shower really add to the experience. This is a rental that will not disappoint.

We booked this property a week in advance (with many properties on the island already booked) for a last minute vacation before school started. We had no idea how perfect of a fit for our family of five it would be! This property is SO special with the private beach and the isolated wooded area of town (especially during COVID concerns). We were still able to be close to everything we needed in Vineyard Haven (by bike) or Oak Bluffs and Edgartown (by car). The home was charming and clean. The owner was welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend this property for a small family (only 1.5 baths), especially a family with younger kids bc the lagoon water is so calm! Enjoy finding crabs!
