Kind staff. Super clean and tidy room. Extremely comfortable late check in.

Not so hot water for showering (in late September), rather mild.

Plenty of space. 2 terraces one in front with a sea view one behind to dry your clothes (what more can you need?). Best cleaning lady in the world, in over 20 years of travelling my room was never this clean. She has one day off a week and even then they send you a message to inform you of that which I thought was very considerate. Didn't meet the host but they were very informative and professional through messages. I recommend getting a car if you are going here, highway is very close so you are well connected to everything. We had a car for 5 days, the last 2 we went to Stalos beach which we thought was a hidden gem compared to other beaches - beautiful sand, lovely sea, not crowded and its only 10 minutes walk from the property. Also there's a bunch of cats to eat your food if that's your thing 🤣

Don't go in expecting luxury, there is old furniture and the bathroom is pretty cramped. TV would be good for late nights considering the property is rather secluded.

the bathroom was very very small unfortunately and ants in the kitchenette 🥺

The price vs. the location to the beaches outside of Chania is fair. You can see the Mediterranean through the window. The host was very responsive and friendly - though we didn’t meet him in person.

The overall condition of furnishings seems run down. The fuse panel had signs of melting - not a surprise when the fuses blow with AC and the water kettle switched on at the same time 😕
