There was nothing bad about the cabin. For us, it was just slightly too far away from the town to be walkable with a young child.

Amazing cozy chalet! 🩵

This chalet had everything we needed. ♥️ It was very cozy and well-equipped. We felt very good there and as a bonus, there were squirrels every morning next to the chalet. The location is close to the ski center.

Absolutely perfect!

The property was everything you would hope for in a rustic log cabin! It was very clean, cosy and perfect for our family of 4. The shower was a great pressure and the sauna an absolute joy everyday to warm up after enjoying the cool air and epic location. We stayed during very early December and had wonderful snow. We thought the location of the property was very idyllic. It was perfectly secluded and private with beautiful walks straight out of the front door but also close enough to visit any restaurants, the shop or ski slopes. All in all we loved it and we’re grateful to Virpi for arranging a small delivery of food bits prior to our arrival, thank you!

Exceptional

Chalet is beautiful both in and out. It has charming character, a beautiful fireplace, a great, tasteful decor, a well equipped kitchen, and a lovely sauna. It was warm at all times despite-24C at night. Owner Karolina was wonderful. Thank you.

We had a problem with the beds. Both my fiancee and I slept poorly and woke up every morning suffering from a terrible neck and shoulder pains. I have never experienced pains like this before, but even this will not stop us from hopefully returning and soon.

Very comfortable and roomy cabin with most of the essentials in a beautiful wooded setting

The cabin is beautifully built, cozy but also roomy with a nice sauna. Location within easy walk of the ski resort, paths are well-maintained in the snow. Host was readily available via text messages.

Kitchen cooking area (specifically stove, oven) is very small. Could not find dish soap for hand washing dishes. Could not figure out how to get the washing machine to work.

Magical

Beautiful, warm, cosy log cabin with open fire and sauna. The pictures don’t do it justice! It was immaculately clean and the lovely hosts went out of their way to be helpful. A stunning, remote area with beautiful snowy scenery - just cabins dotted around a fir forest, and yet still only a 15/20-min pleasant walk to the nearest hotel/restaurant/shop area.

Aanrader, geweldige blokhut!

-Alles erop en eraan -Locatie -Gezellige aankleding -Mooie open haard! -Op paar minuutjes rijden van het supermarktje in Luosto -Sauna -Goede communicatie met de eigenaar Noorderlicht-tip: rijd naar de twee meertjes op paar minuten rijden. Google maps: Ukko-Luostontie. Daar hadden wij een aantal keer erg mooi noorderlicht. Eet-tip: bij restaurant Punakettu heb je echt heerlijke grote(!) pizza’s.

-Meer handdoeken (wij waren met 2 personen en er waren 2 grote en 2 kleine handdoeken) -Maak niet de fout die ik maakte: neem je sleutel altijd mee naar buiten! Ook als je even naar buiten gaat om buiten het noorderlicht te bekijken. Deur kan namelijk in het slot vallen. Wij hadden het geluk dat de buurvrouw een extra sleutel had.

Alles! Das Ambiente ist super, es ist alles an Ausstattung vorhanden (Trockenschrank, Waschmaschine, Föhn, Küchenutensilien), es gibt einen Fernseher, Spiele, Bücher, eine Sauna. Das Chalet liegt in ruhiger Lage, 4 Autominuten von einem Supermarkt entfernt. Die Polarlichter konnten wir direkt vor der Haustür sehen. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und beantwortete bereitwillig alle meine vielen Fragen :) Auch der Kamin ist ein Highlight.

Den einzigen Verbesserungsvorschlag, den ich hätte, wäre etwas mehr Platz in den Kleiderschränken zur Verfügung zu stellen (mehr Regalböden). Sonst war wirklich alles top👍🏼😊

Perfekte Unterkunft in einer fabelhaften Lage

Das Haus sieht in der Realität genauso schön aus wie auf den Bildern. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, es gibt alles, was man sich nur wünschen kann: eine komplett ausgestattete Küche, schnelles Internet, eine tolle Sauna mit Dusche und Bodenheizung, einen Kamin mit genug Brennholz. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und warm. Die Gasgeberin ist sehr nett und hilft bei jeder Frage. Das Haus ist absolut ruhig gelegen, die Gegend ist wunderschön (Naturpark, Skigebiet in der Nähe). Es war einer der besten Aufenthalte, die wir je hatten. Wir würden uns freuen, irgendwann wieder dort zu sein. Vielen Dank für alles!

Toller Urlaub!!!!

Ein wunderschönes Blockhaus in herrlicher, ruhiger Lage. Es war alles da was man brauchte. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, natürlich ist die Sauna zu erwähnen! Trotz der teilweisen Kälte von minus 30° Celsius war das Haus gut geheizt! Kurz gesagt wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt

Einziges Manko ist der Stauraum in den Schlafzimmern. Es gibt einen Regalboden im halben Schrank und eine Kleiderstange, was für zwei Personen absolut zu wenig ist. Die zweite Schranktür ist abgeschlossen, wahrscheinlich mit persönlichem Bedarf vom Eigentümer. Hier wäre es schön wenn man mehr Stauraum bekäme.

Asunto kelorivitalon päätyhuoneisto. Matkalaisille mukavasti varusteltu (mm. pyykinpesukone ja kuivauskaappi). Tunnelmallinen sisustus. Hyvät saunatilat.

Pistorasioita tarvittaisiin nykyaikana enemmän. Jatkoroikka sopivassa paikassa auttaisi kännyköiden ja tietokoneiden kanssa.

Magnifique chalet tranquille

Chalet bien décoré et confortable. L'équipement est suffisant et tout est bien expliqué dans le classeur. La cheminée et le sauna sont un gros plus !

Le chalet est en faite collé à 2 autres habitations. Nous avons eus la chance d'être seul donc tranquille, le jardin est commun à tous le monde.

Ein absolut traumhaftes Häuschen

Es ist schwer in Worte zu fassen, wie unglaublich schön diese Unterkunft war. Nicht nur die Lage mitten im Wald und in einer idyllischen Stille war ein Traum, man fühlte sich auch in dem Holzhaus beim offenen Kamin und in dieser gemütlichen Ausstattung extrem wohl. Das Haus ist vielleicht nicht perfekt, aber es hat so viel Charm und wurde mit viel Liebe dekoriert. Wir wollten garnicht abreisen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Es gibt nur Kleinigkeiten, die man nicht erwähnen muss. Etwas mehr Platz um Sachen unterzubringen wäre schön, aber es ging schon.
