Enjoy an unforgettable North Sea vacation in our cozy semi-detached house. With 75 square meters of living space spread over two levels, the Harlestern offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway as a couple or with the whole family (up to 4 people + baby).

Our house stands out for its excellent yet peaceful location:
Beach & Seawall: Only about 500 m away—in just a few minutes, you’ll feel the sand beneath your feet, without having to climb a single step!
Water & Harbor: The Harle River and the inland marina are just 200 m away. You can walk there without having to climb any steps.
Activities for Kids: A playground and soccer field are just a few minutes’ walk away.
Dining: First-class restaurants (including two excellent seafood restaurants) and shopping options are in the immediate vicinity.
Living & Comfort
On the first floor, you’ll find a bright, open living-dining area with direct access to the south-facing terrace. The approximately 220-square-meter, secluded garden is a real highlight and serves as an extended living room in the summer. The separate kitchen is fully equipped (including a dishwasher and microwave). A natural-light shower room with a toilet rounds out the first floor.
On the upper floor, you’ll find your oasis of tranquility:
Bedroom 1: Double bed (180x200) and a fold-out baby bed.
Bedroom 2: Two single beds (90x200 & 90x190).
Comfort: All rooms have roller shades for complete blackout.
Second bathroom: Bathroom with bathtub, toilet, and washing machine.
Special extras for our guests
Garden highlight: Feel free to help yourself to fresh mint, rosemary, thyme, and more from our raised herb garden to use in your meals and drinks.
Family amenities: A handcart in the lockable garden shed, a high chair, a child-sized toilet seat, and a step stool are available.
Allergy-friendly: We are a strictly non-smoking home and do not allow pets—for a healthy indoor environment.
Parking & Amenities: Two private parking spaces right in front of the house and free Wi-Fi are provided as a matter of course.
Leisure right outside your door: Whether swimming in the Cliner Spring, mudflat hiking, sailing, or a stroll to the historic museum harbor (approx. 1.7 km along the Harle)—the Harlestern is your ideal starting point.

Laundry Service: Bed linens and towels can be booked through our housekeeping service for a fee.
Visitor’s Tax: The city of Wittmund charges a year-round visitor’s tax in Harlesiel (payment on site).
Adults ages 16 and older: March 15 – Jan. 6: €3.00 per person per night, Jan. 7 – Mar. 14: €1.50 per person per night.
Children ages 4–15: Mar. 15 – Jan. 6: €1.50 per person per night; Jan. 7 – Mar. 14: free.
