Floors were dirty, can opener was not cleanable and grill was not cleaned out full of ashes. We had to clean it out to use it. Also no grilling utensils. Needs and improvements. A/C filters dirty. Outdated cabins need maintenance. No door lock on back door. Lots of things. I wouldn’t have stayed there had I known before hand! Master lock locked us out before our checkout time. Good thing we had everything loaded! Went for a double check and we were unable to recenter and do so. Checkout was at 11:00 we were loading up and cleaning cabin around 9:45. Not a very good experience.

In the picture it showed that there was going to be a table in the patio but there wasn’t. Also picture showed a big barbecue pit on the patio which wasn’t there, a smaller one was outside.The stove burners were so dirty and greasy that it smelled when you first turned them on.The instructions for opening the door was not clear because you had to turn the knob down and then up after you put in the passcode.I sent 3 emails to the host but never received any response.Other than that the spot of the cabin is great, right on the river and very close to Turner Falls.

The cabin was great, right on the creek, there was no tv, or internet, the host sent me check in instructions when messaged about the WiFi, and no there is not instructions in cabin, nor was there a router, beds not comfortable, but the view from the balcony overlooking the creek was great, we had a good 2day stay, and the kids loved it, even with no WiFi.

The cabin was amazing. Definitely would stay there again and recommend it as well. Only issues we had were given 4 towel for a reservation for 5. 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 trash bags, and 1 roll paper towels for 5 days. When I asked for more I was told they supply for 2-3 days and then guess can go buy some.

we had a good time in this little cabin, the hiking was fun and exhausting...lol steep hill down to the river but we felt adventurous and braved it a few times before we found the trail down by the driveway. overall great communication with manager and great little getaway... btw awesome night fishing with my two sons (14 &7) they caught a lot of little catfish!

First time I stayed it was great,this last time around the house keeping was jot good at all. We found the coffee pot with burnt coffee in the pot ..obviously it was not washed . My kids found a used brush in one if the beds under a pillow . So clearly not anything was checked so I'm not even sure if the bed sheets were washed or changed. It was very dusty behind the beds .and I left my weekend vacation with insect bites all over my neck and arms . . Please do better on the housekeeping. I shouldn't feel the need to vakay and have to clean just to feel comfortable and knowing that our money was spent to have a relaxing time .

We wanted something different then just a hotel room, my husband travels for work. I came across this site and decided to check it out. Great get away!!! Rustic decor, woodsy, and beautiful Honey Creek right below, with rippling water sounds. Very clean & cozy. We went to the Wilderness Refuge, which was fun. Turner Fall was absolutely amazing! This was the perfect stay for Mother’s Day weekend with the kids! We were able to walk down to the creek anytime we wanted and no overcrowd. If you do choose to stay here please keep the creek clean and don’t vandalize the natural creek area and rocks. This place was truly perfect and will make it an annual trip! Our host was so responsive throughout the weekend as well!!

It was a perfect weekend vacation. The deck with the water flowing right behind the cabin was so relaxing and exactly what we needed. It is a cozy little cabin. The only thing that I could say that’s not perfect is the tiny shower with the terrible shower head that only has a couple streams coming out in every direction. Other than that, I would absolutely recommend this little cabin and would love to return.

Cabin was clean and spacious. The beds were average. You will need soap, shampoo and blow dryer as it isn’t supplied. Enjoyed our stay, I was just a little unprepared.

This cabin couldn't be at a more beautiful location. The creek was so much fun to swim in. Don't bother paying for Turner Falls unless you really want to see the falls themselves. The creek is just a minute walk from the cabin. The rocks are less slippery than the falls ones were and you don't have the crazy crowds. A few housekeeping notes for the owners. The area is covered in poison ivy. We got it while on our trip just because it was nearly impossible to walk anywhere behind the cabin at all without coming into contact with it. Also, there is a fallen/dead tree behind. If it were removed, the scenery would be even better. My husband suggested padlocking the grill, as when we arrived, the last users placed it under the deck. He said if someone were to use too much lighter fluid, it would easily start a fire under the deck by catching the wood on fire. He placed it back on the porch where the top of it was not covered. The inside grate of the grill looked as though it had never been cleaned and ashes were built up so badly under the grate that they spilled everywhere as he struggled to get the drawer that holds the ashes out. It would be nice if there was a dvd player instead of satellite. It rained a little on Friday so we wanted to snuggle in and watch something but tv is just so bad these days. The options were awful. Just a suggestion so people have the option to bring their own or go rent a movie for a night in. :) Finally, the ac unit in the first room (where there are two beds) had a lot of trouble cooling the room. It wasn't blowing much air and the air that did come out was only cold part of the time. My husband suggested checking the Freon. The air wasn't hot to sleep in but when the AC wasn't working properly, the humidity was awful. For guests: Bring water bottles. The water out there tastes awful. Wear water shoes to play in the creek to help have better traction when swimming in the deeper areas. There are scorpions so just make sure to wear shoes when outside. Our girls thought it was neat to see a scorpion up close. Also, we did not realize marijuana was legal in OK so it was annoying for me & my asthmatic daughter to be exposed to with nothing we could do about it except to head indoors. People need to be considerate of those around them & the cabins are so close together, it should be a no-brainer to be respectful of your neighbors.

loved the location being so close to the falls. The property was peaceful and we had fun playing in the creek. My only tip to people is make sure your tires are good, mine are low on tred and my van had a little trouble making up the hill. Other then that everything was perfect, will definitely book again.
