Amazing views and close to the beach.

Proximity to the Camps Bay beaches, shops, and restaurants. Large one bedroom apartment with stunning views and nice deck to sit on to watch the sunset.

Traffic noise. It’s right off the main road so traffic seems never ending. Fortunately it does quiet down around 10pm and isn’t too bad throughout the night but it does start up again fairly early in the day.

CAUTION Refund FRAUD

The location but it wa very loud and noisy by the main road

They charge a R1,000 refundable caution but on check out it doesn't get refunded and they try to claim it as a cleaning fee which wasnt stated at point of booking

Very noisy road We were contacted 7 times a as they insisted on an EXACT time of arrival as there’s no ‘concierge’ and by concierge they mean a man with a sign around his neck. I offered them a window of between 3-5 and that was unaccountable even though we had not yet finalised our travel arrangements. They were rude and not accommodating. When we arrived only 1 set of keys. Balcony was wet and dirty The roof leaked and they NEVER attended to it There was a dirty water outlet pipe in the shower deeper cold dirty water while showering. We complained 9 times and they never came to attend to it!!!!! They blinds did not open or close properly The tumble drier is on top of the refrigerator When the wine bore out blew diet into the bathroom through the Sky light. No light In the shower Construction site next door They sent us the wrong property guide / rules for the wrong address They gave us a whatsapp number to communicate with them with an average turn around time of SIX hours No TV remote for there main lounge Mat in the kitchen is a safety hazard (no grip) Fridge was not making cold 4 of the Lamps did not work Nudity on the wall WiFi didn’t work. We were told we had to fix it ourselves NO ONE on site whatsoever When they did come (only twice) they never made appointments. I was still in my underpants Leaky pipe on the veranda I asked 6 times for them to please call me, they never did I dealt with 8 different people via very slow WhatsApp’s everyone. No follow through on complaints The previous person had electricity issues and the heaters kept tripping the lights, So I had to deal with their follow through on those complaints And the plug doesn’t seal and our food got contaminated by ants!!!! Yes get the Senior managers to READ ALL MY COMMUNICATIONS!!! Sending your maintenance team out again and again should only be a once off due to disparity not for us to “PAY” in OUR time while you maintain the property!!! All maintenance should be done in YOUR OWN TIME.

Beautifully positioned property but in desperate need of updating.

The furniture is old and needs updating. Previous guests must have been smokers or vapers you could smell it on the couch and pillows.

Dirty and Dusty, I did not feel comfortable.

I only liked the view of the sea, other than that my money went to waste. The pillow cases when we got there had stains, dirty, cupboards and almost all the furniture had dust. The pictures on the booking.com looks so convincing though, if I did not pay fully I was not gonna stay at this property at all, the owner had to change a lot of stuff, fridge, furniture and the big place like that with a 10inch TV just not worth the price.

Lot of money for very little

The location

It is a bit run down. Carpets are stained, double bed mattress cheap and uncomfortable, cheap glasses..had to buy others when receiving guests. The photos on your site were captured with a wide lense and the place is a lot smaller. Cutlery cheap, no steak knives, no caserol, bed headboard worn. Tumble dryer on top of the fridge.

We had stayed at this apartment 4 years before and fell in love with it and its location, so when we saw it available for our end-of-the-year vacation, we grabbed it with both hands and even paid one extra night in order to secure it (the property was available for a minimum of 8 nights, but we could stay only 7). The apartment is spacious, well-furnished, very comfortable, with a great view of the ocean, and with a small secluded beach right across the street. It's also within walking distance of the Camps Bay restaurant strip.

On the day we booked the property and in every communication thereafter, we always informed the property managers that we would check in the day after the official beginning of our stay, but in almost every communication back from them we got the impression that that fact did not register. Lo and behold, when we arrived and went to pick up the keys (in a lockbox at a petrol station), the keys were not there and we had to call and then wait at the petrol station for someone to bring them to us, because "we were 24 hours late in collecting them"! On the last three days of our stay, the tag that opens the front door to the building stopped working. Although we complained several times to the property managers, we left without the problem being resolved. During those 3 days, every time we returned home we had either to disturb a neighbour by buzzing their apartment and hope that they would be home and kind and trusting enough (a difficult thing in crime-ridden SA, therefore on a couple of occasions the neighbour we buzzed simply ignored our plea for help) to open the building door for us, or we had to wait on the street - sometimes for more than an hour - until a neighbour walked in or out of the building and again hope that they would accept to let us in. This was a very unpleasant and stressful experience because every time we left the house we were anxious about whether we would be able to get back in at all. We understand that this was a problem that affected all 3 apartments on one side of the building, and not only the apartment where we were staying and which was the only one managed by the company we were dealing with, but still it was their responsibility to have contingency plans in place regardless of whose responsibility it was to fix the problem so that their customers didn't have to suffer. Instead they simply shrugged it off as a problem for the building's body corporate. That for us was unacceptable.

This place needs a new look,the furniture is old,the carpet in the bedroom needs to be removed ,change all the tub cabinets,get a bigger tv.the pictures are so deceiving.Balie Bay is no go

Great view, lovely to chill on the balcony in the mornings. Beautiful apartment with interesting furniture and artworks. Amazing location with short walks to beaches.

Felt a bit unsafe with the open lot next door and a random guy checking us out every night while we where on the balcony. Also weren’t informed about building maintenance during our stay.
