Beautiful 2 story log home in a rural setting. Spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom cabin tastefully decorated for comfort and function. Peaceful setting, wrap around porch with a view of the mountains. With the 2 twin beds in the upstairs recreation room, this cabin sleeps up to 10 people. Bedding, pillows, towels, provided. It has a large kitchen area with cookware, dishes, flatware, glasses, etc.
Close to hiking, boating, fishing and skiing. Within walking distance to the Columbia River.

We were really impressed with Grandpa’s cabin. The house was clean, tidy, all the accessories were ready to go for us. We felt so cozy in such a warm inviting structure. The real logs are absolutely beautiful. Vicki and Rick are so nice. We had a few questions and they were a pleasure to interact with. I would recommend this cabin to couples or families. The kids played in the rec room on the second floor and they learned about what a vhs movie player was and watched beauty and the beast on a little tv that reminded us of our childhood. We’ll definitely come back.Thank you Johnson family for providing such a lovely gift of a cabin to the community. All the best from the Emery family. God bless 😊❤️

Grandpa's Cabin is a wonderful retreat - for any occasion! For us, seven adults stayed two nights to attend the Northport All High Reunion. The beds are super comfy, the decor is delightful, the cabin is very clean and supplied with anything you could want. The deck offers a place to relax and enjoy the sound of only the breeze. All 7 of us would highly recommend Grandpa's Cabin for YOU!

Viki is an amazing host. Very friendly, carrying, responsive and helpful. She went above and beyond. She assisted us with all accommodations and requests. Grampa's Cabin is truly a retreat place. The house has everything you need. No WiFi - no problem. Verizon and ATT service is good. The cabin Looks and feels like new. A lot of extra sheets, blankets, towels and anything else you need for a great and comfortable stay. Very private! We'll be back! Strongly recommend to anyone. Thank You Viki!

Absolutley over the top impressed with this home. We had all we could ever need and more. Hospitality was amazing they thought of everything. Very clean quite beautiful view and acess to the local area but i did not want to go anywere because it was so comfy and relaxing staying at grandpas cabin. Viki made my family feel like long time friends. Thanks again for everything. Someday we will met because i will be coming back. Happy holidys

This property is magnificent. Everywhere we looked there is beauty and and there is wildlife. We saw Mama deer (white tail) with her baby and a family of wild turkeys. The views were so incredible and relaxing. The upkeep of these grounds did not go unnoticed. Rick and Viki put their heart and soul into making Grampa's cabin and it's grounds a place that no one would ever want to leave. Thank you Viki for everything. You truly are the best. This was our second visit and next time will be an even longer visit.

It was our second time here at Grandpa's cabin & hopefully there will be many more to come! its our favorite place to come unwind with our kids & grandkids. This was our 2nd stay at Grampa’s Cabin. We love the peace and quiet this property provides. The home is comfortable and well equipped with all of the essentials. We ventured out to the China Bend Winery and really enjoyed the wine tasting and conversing with the winemaker. Love the selection of wines! The hosts at this home are fabulous. We highly recommend this property.

A beautiful log cabin with air conditioning, large bedrooms, wrap around porch, fully furnished kitchen and laundry room. The hosts are amazing with a great attention to detail. Plenty of parking. The river is a nice little hike from the cabin but worth it. If your looking to take a technology break and reconnect as a family, then you found your destination.

Was great to get away and disconnect!(litterally). Everything was great. Cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. Very friendly, helpful, and informative hosts. The only bad part was not being able to stay longer! Everyone in the area was very nice as well. Will definatley be going back sometime!

We have been coming to Northern Lights Lodge for many years, and it remains one of our favorite spots in the world. Each suite is extremely roomy and comfortable, and there’s a huge kitchen for fixing big family meals. We take advantage of the China Bend Boat Launch everyday for time on the lake, and we always make a pit stop at the China Bend Winery across the way. The Lodge is perfect for us, and we hope to return for many more reunions.

We rented this cabin so we could be close to my niece’s wedding venue at a nearby ranch. We LOVED having the 4 bedrooms and bathrooms for each couple. It made it so nice to get ready for the wedding. We enjoyed coffee on the porch and walked to the river each morning. We came back every night from the ranch and was able to talk about our day in peace. It was quiet, peaceful, beautiful and very well stocked. I would love to go again just to stay there and not go anywhere! Viki was a wonderful host!

In summary, it’s everything we wanted and our trip was too short. We’ll definitely be coming back in the future. This place was perfect in every way. Only thing you need to be aware of is that there is no Wi-Fi, and if you’re on T-Mobile absolutely no service. It was perfectly bliss being disconnected from the world too.

Viki was very communicative and awesome to work with. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed, and super cozy. We really enjoyed playing games at the table and playing in the snow, then coming in to warm up by the fire. Our beds were comfortable and we had an overall relaxing, fun experience!

Great getaway

Awesome little cabin out in the country. Spent thanksgiving here with the family and had a blast! No internet or cable which was a nice break from work. A little hard to find from the address but some detailed directions got us right to it.
