About this cabin rental
The Starlight Cabin is a bright and sunny retreat located at the base of a hill, near the shoreline and a spacious, shared lawn. Its high, open ceilings create a sense of spaciousness that exceeds its footprint. This charming, rustic cabin features two bedrooms with three beds, as well as a bonus Murphy bed in the hallway.
From the relaxing deck, you can enjoy beautiful views of Charleston Lake while keeping an eye on the children as they play.
Our guests enjoy shared use of kayaks, and SUPs (stand up paddle boards) during their stay. Fishermen are welcome to enjoy our fishing kayak.
Boat/trailer parking is available for guests with their own boats pending availability. Please contact us prior to booking to confirm availability as dock space is limited. Boats are launched just down the road (3min drive) at the public boat launch on Burma lane, and guest boats are docked at our east dock. Trailer parking is located on site in our designated trailer parking area.
Bed linens are provided. Guests will need to bring their own towels.
A portable air conditioning unit, fans, warm blankets and heaters are provided for your comfort. However, please note that this is a centuries-old seasonal cabin and extreme temperatures will be felt.
Pets are welcome, but must be registered and paid for at the time of booking.
You will be contacted via Charleston Lakeside Retreat’s secure reservation system to provide your credit card for a $350 damage/incidental deposit hold, guest details, ID and rental agreement signature. This information is required at the time of booking. Incomplete reservations are subject to cancelation.

Host was great. Place was amazing and everything you needed was there. Thank you for everything !! Angela was a great host. I would give 10 stars for her son who helped us with the kayaks and all. Highly recommend a stay at this place.

We loved our week away at the Starlight Cabin. It was spotless and just a walk away from the waterfront. Angela and Colin were the perfect hosts and catered to our every need. A must for a family get away!
