Welcome to Hale Kailani, our Sea and Sky House, located on a peaceful half-acre in the Hawaiian Paradise Park community just south of Hilo. This inviting island home offers comfortable indoor living paired with beautiful outdoor spaces, making it an ideal retreat for relaxation and adventure.
The lower level features two bedrooms and a full bathroom, while the upper level boasts a spacious loft-style third bedroom with a ¾ bathroom. The living and dining areas open through sliding glass doors onto a large lanai, perfect for outdoor dining and grilling.
For added peace of mind, the home includes a monitored security system with three exterior cameras. The alarm system will be disarmed during your stay unless access is requested; exterior cameras remain active at all times. A wide selection of amenities and gear is provided to help you fully enjoy your time on the Big Island—from ocean adventures to quiet evenings at home.

The house and gounds were nice and well maintained. Easy to find and drive to. There was a hot water heater issue that cause a few minor problems but we worked through those. My biggest issue was the check-in emails. I got one from VRBO butbthere were no specifics for door/lock codes. The morning of the day we were to check-in, I had to contact VRBO for points of contact for those codes. That was very disappointing.

Beautiful property with stunning views of Hilo Bay. We rang in the New Year watching spinner dolphins from the deck, truly unforgettable. Rain or shine, (it is Hilo after all), the home felt warm, welcoming, and added to the experience. The house was immaculate and fully equipped with everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were effortless, and the owners and staff were wonderful to work with. We would absolutely stay here again!

All of our needs were met! Gracious hosts that thought of everything and more. Unparalleled views of the bay! We loved starting our mornings with sunrise views from the deck and ending our days with a glass of wine at sunset
