About this house rental
Come and stay at "The Paddle-INN'' in the lovely town of Sylvan Lake, Alberta. We hope that our cabin can be your home away from home while you are traveling in and around Sylvan Lake. Our cabin is a small walk away from the public beach, with lake views from the driveway. The views of the calm lake in the morning are spectacular, and there are some fantastic restaurants and breweries in the neighbourhood.
The space
The Paddle-INN is about spending quality time together! We offer....
3 Bedrooms - One master with a queen bed, a twin over twin bunk bed room and a twin over double bunk bedroom, 1 washroom with sink, toilet and shower, large common living room with a pull out couch that sleeps 2 (double bed), large TV with Netflix, DisneyPlus, many board games and kids colouring books, kitchen and dining room with fridge/freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, popcorn popper, pots and pans. We love spending time outside and hope you do to, make sure to check out our outdoor living spaces.
Guest access
The entire property is yours for the duration of the stay. You will have access to our front porch and backyard patio which is ready to entertain. There is a large backyard just off the patio with mature trees to provide shade and exploration for younger kids. Just off the back patio, you will have an outdoor living space with a fire pit and chairs. There is plenty of free parking on our property.
Other things to note
We love pets and welcome them into our home. Our cabin provides water and food dishes, a bin of toys, bed and doggy bags for your furry family member. We offer use of our outdoor living space which has plenty of seats with a patio table, kid friendly seats, BBQ, fire pit and more.

The paddle in was very clean as well as super cozy. Had all utensils and appliances you could think of for an at home like stay. The location so close to the beach but far enough from Main Street that u don’t hear all the noise. Really enjoyed our relaxing mother daughter stay. Thank you again Taryn!!

This is the cutest little cottage. Taryn the owner is exceptionally friendly and communicating was very fast and easy. We enjoyed 3 days at the paddle in and it was very relaxing, comfortable and lovely. We will definitely be back in the summer.

The Paddle-INN was such a cozy, comfortable cabin that is perfect for a get-a-way in Sylvan Lake. The space is renovated and you can tell that Taryn has put in so much effort to make sure the decor reflects a modern cabin feel. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and enjoys meals. We really enjoyed the deck and fire pit out back - there’s lots of space to enjoy in the backyard. The only thing that I should have double-checked before booking was that although there is ample space in the back yard, it’s actually not fenced in and we had multiple dogs stay over with us. Overall, we really enjoyed this property and would highly recommend it to others!

This was a great place to spend a long weekend! The cabin is equipped with everything you'll need, from kitchen ware to activities for kids (crayons and colouring books, books, and bubbles, board games), and everything you could need for your dog as well (treats, poop bags, toys, dog bed, extra leash). The cabin itself is exactly as described and seen in the photos. The back yard has a fire pit that is as safe as fire pits can get for children, complete with hot dog and marshmallow roasting forks, an axe, lots of outdoor seating, and a large deck with a nice big table. We recommend bringing a long lead to tie your dog up as there is no fence. Beds are comfy, appliances are all nice and new, our 2 year old loved the bunk beds. It was nice to have a smart TV where we could plug in our Amazon fire stick for our kid's favourite shows and late night movies. The WiFi works well also. The place is decorated with great care and you can tell the hosts have put a lot into it, especially when you look at the photos of it before renovations, which were cool to see. Host was very accessible and communicative. We hope to return!
