About this house rental
Welcome to Meade Manor! Cozy yet spacious, this historic home is just 1 block from Lawrence University and downtown Appleton. Enjoy charming woodwork, leaded glass built-ins, refinished hardwood floors, and a bright sunroom. Walk to parks, restaurants, coffee shops, and the Fox River trail. Drive to Green Bay/Lambeau in just 30 minutes or be in Oshkosh for EAA in 20 minutes. With 4 bedrooms (3 queens, 2 twins), plus a ping-pong table and dartboard in the garage, this is your perfect home base.
MAIN FLOOR
• Kitchen: Spacious kitchen that is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a great meal, including small appliances like a blender and crockpot. No dishwasher.
• Living Room: Sofa, two chairs, and a padded ottoman to put your feet up on. 50" TV with streaming capabilities (BYO passwords) and refinished hardwood floors.
• Dining Room: Dining table seats 8 and is surrounded by beautiful built-in cabinets and a cozy window seat
• Entry: Hooks to hang your coats and bags and plenty of room for shoes
• Sun Room: Enjoy your morning coffee while relaxing in the beautiful, light-filled sun room
• Half Bath: Bathroom with a toilet and sink.
UPPER LEVEL
• 4 bedrooms, all with memory foam mattresses, sound machines, and bedside phone charging stations
• 3 queen beds, 2 twin beds
• Full bathroom with tub/shower combination.
• Toys, books, and a chalkboard for young children
LOWER LEVEL
• Washer and dryer. Detergent is provided, along with an iron and ironing board.
OUTDOORS
• Garage with ping-pong table and dart board (available seasonally as garage is not heated)
• Paved patio area with an outdoor dining table
• Driveway parking for 4 vehicles
• Spacious back yard
• Playground across the street
WHAT WE PROVIDE
• Shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash are available in refillable containers as we do our part to help the environment. Guests are welcome to supply their own toiletries if desired.
• Laundry detergent.
• Coffee, creamer, and sugar are available, however we highly recommend checking out one of Appleton's local coffee shops like Copper Rock Coffee Company while you are in town.
LONG TERM STAYS
• Interested in staying for more than 30 days? Reach out for long-term pricing. Note that a separate lease may be required through our company, Home Base Rentals, LLC, to protect both of us. Stays of 30 days or more also have a cleaning fee of $225.
Pets are NOT allowed.
This house is located in a family neighborhood so noise level must be kept to a minimum. We also stay here often with our own children when we are visiting family in town. If you are looking for a party home or are disrespectful to other people's property, this is not the right place for you.
No check in/out on the following days: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

Location is very convenient. The house met every expectation that we had and was was completely as advertised. Everything was perfectly clean. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with bowls, cooking utensils, and all the little things one might need.

Great place, 4 of us on motorcycles, each had their own room. Garage was a great hangout or the patio. Grill worked perfect. Easy access!

The place was great l! We went up there for a music festival and the host, Amy, was so kind. She sent us a list of some of their favorite spots around town. And when we accidentally broke the coffee pot, she was more thatn understanding. Can't recommend this property and hist enougg!
