Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sycamore Cove. The house was absolutely stunning! It was very well equipped with everything we needed. The house was well kept and clean. Our group enjoyed utilizing the entertaining spaces as well as the outdoor spaces. This place is perfect for families and friends. The owner held great communication and make check in a breeze. Our group made many lovely memories and talk eagerly about another stay in the future!

Fantastic. Host very responsive. Well stocked kitchen. Great lake toys. We did a friends with teenage kids vacation, there were 16 of us. It was perfect! Our teens played Rockband for hours (as well as tons of swimming). Also, fabulous outdoor spaces. Watch the video you receive a week before, if you rent this. It was helpful.

My friends and family chose this house because of the perfect location and amazing house! The beach area was a big hit! We had a lot of fun in the basement with the pool table, arcade game, and dart board! The house was very spacious and view from the master bedroom was awesome! We also used the huge back door patio a lot at night! Lori was super helpful and very responsive to any of our questions! We will definitely be staying here again!!

Sycamore Cove is a lovely property with so much space for large groups, and so many wonderful amenities.Communication with the owner was excellent and the check-in process was seamless. Our entire family enjoyed three wonderful days of outside and inside activities. Give it a try… you’ll like it!

Our stay couldn’t have gone better! We had 8 adults and 8 kids ages 5 and under and we can’t stop talking about the wonderful stay and property. Lori started out by allowing a family who had lost power overnight check in very early so they could enjoy A/C and a shower. She proactively checked in on us and was very responsive.The house itself was so perfect for our group! It was clean and spacious. The kids had plenty to do between the beach, water toys and boats, movie room, arcade games, etc. For us adults it was nice to have separate spaces for each family and also nice that once the kids were in bed we could chat and listen to music in the main level, basement, or outside without bothering the kids. The trip definitely fit the ideal picture we had in our heads leading up to it.We are all midwesterners very used to lake bottoms and all of our kids had water shoes so we were in the water a good 75% of each day. However, just a heads up to anyone not used to a lake, the bottom is seaweed which can feel musy so bring yourself some water sandals if you aren’t certain you’d like the feeling.

We booked this place for our family gathering. Three generations of us, and there’s something here for all ages. Games lake charming towns nearby relaxation Great hosts who have the gift of hospitality. Premium towels and sheets. Well stocked kitchen utensils. We will book again and we look forward to it. Top notch! We also recommend Matteo’s in town for a great Italian dinner.

Six siblings 66-80 and families gathered for the first time since 2013 to celebrate the oldest turning 80 this month. This location was central for everyone coming in from Delaware, Colorado and northern half of Indiana. We made the most of our time, eating, visiting and playing cards. Never even used the third floor! So much space. Would be a great summer reunion spot. Hope to return one day!

This house is nestled on a beautiful piece of property overlooking the lake. There was plenty of room for our three families to be together but not on top of each other. The back deck was a great spot for family dinners and the kids loved the pool table, Pac-Man, and theatre room. The house was clean and the host was extremely responsive and easy to work with.

We stayed here for a family wedding, and the home was great! We had plenty of room, and enjoyed views of the lake every morning and evening. Our son-in-law docked his boat at the floating dock and we enjoyed cruises around the lake. The VRBO host, Lori, checked in and was very responsive on any questions.

We were a group of 10 from 3 states that all love this house. Beds were comfy, house was updated and furnished beautifully, every piece of furniture was comfortable! Plenty of spaces to play, relax and visit. Access to lake easy, floats, kayaks, sups and oars and life jackets easily accessible. Absolutely fantastic weekend at Lori’s lake house. Lori was extremely communicative and easy to work with. She went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay, including leaving some fresh veggies from her farm for us for a little bit of a late check-in (which was not at all her fault). The house was in great shape, fully stocked, and accurate to the description. We had a great time grilling out on the huge grill, enjoying the lake and beach area, and taking the kayaks and paddle boards out. I couldn’t rate this property any higher - thanks Lori!

The property was exactly as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked with all the supplies you can think of, including a welcome basket full of snacks and beverages. The rooms were very well appointed. The property provided the perfect getaway for a ladies trip! It is also the perfect home for families as there is a game room and media room for watching movies. 3 families (15 people) stayed for 3 nights. Plenty of beds/space, seating and kitchen space. Winter vacation, so we did not utilize outside options. Gorgeous views of the lake with a super host! The house is well equipped for multiple people from towels and bedding to place settings and cookware. We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend and everyone had so much fun playing pool, video games, board and card games to watching football and movies. I decided to invite family and friends to celebrate my 60th birthday. Since some were from out of town, I wanted to get a property where we could all stay to celebrate safely. I found this property on VRBO and thought it might suffuce. Seeing the listing did not prepare me for the perfection of the property. We drove up and were floored at the view of the lake. We walked into soaring ceilungs with a staircase up, a living room to the left, a sitting room to the right and a large kitchen straight ahead. The rooms were well appointed and contained everything we needed for our stay, and more! There were extra linens, snacks and everything we could need in the kitchen. There was so mych to do that we couldnt even fit it all into the weekend. We did have a great time in the theater room for karaoke. And, the football lovers enjoyed the 65" TV in the basement. There was so much more we could have explored given enough time. But my great-nephew summed it up best when he said, "This is the best birthday party ever!!". Thanks Lori and staff for making this wonderful place available!!
