About this apartment rental
Welcome to Coastal Sands! This condo is decorated with a cozy beach feel. This relaxing 1BR, 1-1/2 Bath (sleeps 6) and has everything you need for your family beach vacation. There is a king size bed in the main bedroom with private bath with shower. The living room has a queen couch and two custom built twin over twin beds (with memory foam mattresses) and a fold out single bed. The half bath is located off the dining area.
Fully furnished kitchen to prepare your meals @ the condo or you can walk to several restaurants nearby. There are two (2) coffee pots, one regular and one Keruig. A stackable washer and dryer is right off the kitchen.
Beach chairs, towels and a small ice chest and boogie boards are in the main bedroom closet.
Gulf Terrace is a gated community located on 26 acres. There are 3 pools, 2 tennis courts, basketball, picnic areas, community laundry facilities and a 20 acre fishing lake.
The condo is located in the heart of Destin where you can walk to Big Kahuna's Water Part, shops, restaurants, Putt Putt Golf or the beach.
There is beach access at The Back Porch Restaurant, 1740 Scenic HWY 98, if you would like to walk (.08 mile walk).
Henderson Beach State Park is located at 1700 Emerald Coast Parkway in Destin. The Cost is $6.00 per vehicle (2-8 per vehicle). There is also beach access by Pompano Joe's in Miramar Beach #49, 2375 Scenic Gulf Drive, Miramar Beach.

The condo was very clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. The pools were very nice.

When we checked in we found some items were broken. The lid to the toilet seat in the bedroom was broken. The shower door did not fit on the runner and therefore went back and forth...no problem. The mirror in the 1/2 bath was broken already. Just wanted to point these items out so that we were not held accountable for them. But the worst possible item is the couch bed. At the bottom of the mattress the springs are broken. I believe there were about 5 missing. The mattress is as thin as a pancake and when lying on the bed every bar was pressed against your back. That condo should be advertised for 2 people. The couch bed is not worth 2 cents. The property was very shady looking when entering. There were sliding doors just laying in yards and they looked very unkept. However, the condo we were in was nice with the furnishings. I was disappointed in the location to the beach. I don't know that I would of rented the condo if I had any idea that you had a long walk to the beach. After talking with Walmart workers, who were very helpful, we went to Henderson Park to get to the beach.
