We've come down to lake Jackson for a few years now and we will continue to stay at this house. This house was way cheaper than others, and included everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend

We needed a quick weekend getaway after finding out one of our dogs has cancer and will not be with us much longer. The pics in the listing tell a much different story than what we found in this rental. First, the good...the house was somewhat clean. The surfaces had all been cleaned. The access to the house was simple. There was ample sleeping areas. On to the not so good...the kitchen was tiny and extremely under stocked. There was 1 fork in the house. The pots and pans were disgusting. The screened porch was cute in the pics, but upon arrival the curtains had fallen down, the wiring for electronics was a MAJOR fire hazard as there were surge protectors plugged into surge protectors and the wires all dangled down from the tv and against a curtain. The rules stated quiet hours were from 10-7, but the neighbors to the left started partying around 10 and continued until around 4 a.m. We didn't sleep at all and part of my family left due to the lack of sleep. Beds were also small, old and uncomfortable. Decor was cheap looking and the soap dispensers all had OLD soap that came out as a gooey brown substance. All in all, not impressed at all.
