Cute place! Seemed like emphasis was on the “nostalgia” rather than function. Since we needed to use the couch as a bed, a chair would have been welcome. Lack of space in the bathroom could easily be remedied with a shelf between the sink and mirror. Water level in the toilet was insufficient to flush. I understand the need to conserve water but the need to flush multiple times negates efforts to save water. We had to buy a plunger which we left on the premises. With a knee injury, I would have appreciated a safety bar on the shower wall. Lastly more detailed instructions would be very helpful. We could not figure out what the glass door cabinet in the kitchen was for. Dish dryer? Little oven? All said, we had a great time and Courtney was a wonderful host and was very understanding about a mixup on our checkout date. We would recommend this place for couples looking to get away at a very reasonable price. Nice job Courtney!

My visit to Southern Pines was for a funeral. As this was emotional I was at ease with the lovely accommodations from Courtney. Even though this spot is Aberdeen, it is a stone's throw to all the lovely places in Southern Pines. I will stay there again!
