Lovely style of hotel and gorgeous grounds. Beds and bedrooms are so comfortable and nicely styled

The only problem was over the fence is some sort of yard, and there was someone yelling and shouting. Not that the hotel could do anything but it wasn’t very relaxing.

The general areas of the hotel were nicely done. Good pool area. Excellent on-site restaurant. The gardens are beautifully tended. Our room, a suite was very well designed and spacious, with a bath and separate shower. The hotel was quiet, only 12 rooms in total I think. Whilst I would not recommend Mojacar as a destination, if you decide to go there, then you must stay here!

We had a superb stay from the moment we arrived. We were delighted to be told that we’d been upgraded to a suite, which was a wonderful surprise and made our stay even more special. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with beautifully maintained gardens and a lovely swimming pool area that’s perfect for relaxing. The reception staff were warm, welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, making us feel genuinely looked after. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay. We can’t wait to return!

Easy to find, good, quiet location just off the passeo del Mediterràneo at the quieter, northern side of Mojàcar. Beautiful looking white washed property and appealing pool area set in a lovely, well maintained garden, real rustic charm, very few people seemed to be staying at the hotel during our stay.

The morning after our first night I went downstairs to see if I could get a drink for my partner, there was nobody about in reception, I eventually found a member of staff in the garden and asked her if I could possibly get a fresh orange, she told me that would not be possible as the restaurant was closed, I asked her did they not offer breakfast until 11:30? She then checked the time and said it was strange that the restaurant was closed as it should have been open, but it is run by somebody else?, she offered to call them to find out what was happening, but I ended up just walking to a shop 10 minutes down the road. . Later we went down to the pool and were greeted by lots of broken glass on the tiles around the pool, the issue was promptly reported to a member of staff who did attempt to clean it up, but I still spent time picking up lots of glass that absolutely should not have been there. The pool itself was not as clean as we expected and did not appear to have been skimmed or vacuumed any time recently, it also had two resident frogs swimming in it. There were two sharp pieces of metal, one at the top and one at the bottom of the steps into the pool (submerged underwater) where a handrail appeared to have been cut off, they were not covered in any way and would likely cause injury to someone unaware of their presence. The sun loungers were cheap, flimsy and uncomfortable and offered the most limited amount of adjustment we have encountered, you were either laying almost flat or bolt upright at what felt like 90°. We really enjoy reading or browsing whilst sunbathing, but we could just not settle here. Despite advertising on booking.com that the place had soundproofed rooms, we could hear lots of noise, we could even hear the beeping from the adjacent room as they adjusted their AC.
