We loved the vibes and comfort of the hanok. The boss was super nice too - he gave us a free room upgrade because of our many luggages and got a really spacious room to stay in. Additionally, because of the shared pantry space, we also had a chance to meet another korean family and we had a good exchange with each other, really loved the experience. Thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality!
Nothing! But do prepare some insect repellent if needed. We had a can of insect spray in the room which was really helpful but we still went to a nearby convenience store to buy a roll-on insect repellent for extra protection against the mosquitos. But not to worry, as long as you keep the doors and mosquito nets closed, it is not an issue.

I wanted to try a traditional hanok experience. I liked it a lot. The house is beautiful. My futon/mat was very comfortable. The family owners are super-sweet.
The hanok is down mound of a funky alley, surrounded by machine parts shops. But just a couple blocks after that are lots of good cafes.

The location was great. It was an amazing experience to stay at a traditional Korean house. The place was very well mantained and clean. And the host was very friendly and helpful.

other guest were very noisy till past 2am and due to the very poor sound proofing it have affect my sleep for the entire night
