it was good location, but the owners were weird
the owners were weird but the cleaning staff were extremely nice, the shower has no doors and it was disgusting, the whole room is old

Terrible experience
The only advantage of the hotel is location. It is walking distance to iconic beaches.
When my family saw family room, my daughter begged me to sleep in our car. :( Kitchen area looks depressing: rusty and creaky fridge, the smell of sewage and mold, tablecloth with holes from cigarettes, creepy baby bad.
WiFi doesn’t work (it connects but doesn’t transmit any data). Pool is worn out.
We booked another hotel and left early.
Administrator was trying to help in the beginning, but quickly gave up saying that we can just leave, because we ”are in a bad mood”. I have been in 100 hotels in my life and this was the worst experience ever.

It’s a great place but could be better.
Good location, nice swimming pool.
Shower has no curtains so the toilet floor always gets wet. No shampoo, hand wash etc. A bit old overall.
Would be great to have a “do not disturb” letter on the door otherwise the cleaning staff is knocking the door every morning for cleaning

We are just home last night and had the best stay here! Absolutely spotless, staff are all friendly, cheery, helpful - George at the bar is the nicest guyNothing is too much trouble if you need anything!
Pool is lovely and spotless, gorgeous property with beautiful flowers/plants
Rooms have everything you need, proper wardrobes with plenty storage cleaned and fresh towels etc every day! Do not be put off with the no shower curtain thing - mops are left for you and all the hotels here do this - it’s no issue at all just be careful and mop and dry your feet before you leave the bathroom.
Poolside bar is great to sit at, shaded areas and good selection of food and drinks. Quiet as back from the road but only a minutes walk and you are at the shops/bars

Great Canal d'Amour self catering hotel
Location was perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful Canal d'Amour, and very close to some lovely restaurants and bars. It was about 10mins walk along the road or beach to the main part of town if you wanted the lively music bars.
The hotel staff were fantastic, especially George the barman, and the hotel gyros the best we tasted all week.
The hotel was very clean and surrounded with beautiful flowers, wirh a lovely pool area with nice sunbeds and sunshades.
Would definitely return.

Breakfast was delicious! The staff welcomed us with lots of hospitality. The swimming pool's temperature was perfect. We could arrive at the beach on foot in just a few minutes. Rooms were very spacious and well equipped.

Worst stay ever
Absolutely no amenities, not even a bag in the trash, they gave us some liquid soap in a plastic cup, because we had just arrived and I needed soap to change my contact lenses. They said it was a ' self catering hotel' but it didn't say so anywhere when we booked it.
The ac wasn't working, but they eventually had it fixed, tv also consisted of 4 channels, other than that also not working, pans and pots visibly very used, and bad looking.
The cleaning lady throwed away some of out stuff and moved others to where she thought they were supposed to stay.
They asked us if we needed clean towels the second day and the day before we left, out of 11 nights stay. We couldn't find the logic in that. Those were also the times the bed linen was changed.
Bed mattress was also very used, not a very comfortable night sleep

Close to Sidari centre and the beaches, especially the Apotripiti beach, which was nice for a morning swim. Parking available for car rental. Nice owner. Very good cocktails.

The worst accommodation I have had so far

I had reservation for two apartments (2 adults + 2 children) for 7 nights.
The TV was not working from the first day, the bathroom doesn’t have soap, shampoo.
The door from the balcony doesn’t have mosquitoes mesh.From the first day I tried to explain to owners the issue with TV but they didn’t care about my problem.I had reservation for 7 nights but I stayed only 4.In the evening of the day four I tried to switch on the AC and I saw that the device doesn’t start.Being already upset because of the TV I went to the owners who were outside close to the bar and I told them about issue with the Air Conditioning.Instead to tell me to close the door from the balcony the owner told me following : “If the Air Conditioning will function you with your family have to leave my hotel in the next day before 10:00 o’clock and I will give you money back for the remain reserved days.”I didn’t know that AC work only when door of the balcony is closed.Taking in consideration the lack of hospitality, indifference, the authoritative way in which he told me to leave the location next day until 10:00 o’ clock I decided to leave this “hotel”.I already did not feel safety in that place for me and my family.In the next day at 8:00 o’clock we were ready to leave the apartments.I was waiting owners and around 9:00 o”clock I saw him outside.I told him : As you wish I will leave your “hotel”, please give me the money back for the remained reserved days, as you told me last evening.He explained me that will send an email to Booking and will inform them that I stayed only 4 nights and because they didn’t receive money Booking will have to return me the rest of the money.Big lie, he sent an email to Booking but with other message.It seems that I will not receive, as it is correct, our money back.From my point of view, it is unbelievable how someone who is involved in tourism field,who is owner of the pension, can tell to one foreign guest family to leave the “hotel”, to lie and to cheat.

I think that the mattresses on the bed could be improved -they were not that comfortable Also its difficult to know why there was no shower curtains - the bathroom could be redesigned as the floors got incredibly slippy.

It was close to the beach and there were plenty of restaurants around to choose from.
It also had its own private pool.

The room cleaning was done at random hours and they would insist with the doorbell and knocking on the door when no one would answer because we were trying to sleep, at 1-2 in the afternoon

Lots of noise coming from the pool plus they didn’t allow you to bring your own food and drinks
They never changed the bed sheets nor the towels, just the covers we used at night
