Beautiful house in nature, cozy nice rooms, swimming pool near the house. Owners were always helpful with our requests. House is near (3 KM) a small village where you can buy what you need and there is a good restaurant (with pizza and pasta) as well.
You can find really nice beaches in San Vincenzo only 40 mins by car from the house. The kitchen is fully equipped. Keep in mind that the house is located in higher positions (almost mountains), so roads to the house are full of serpentines.
Wi-fi connection and mobile signal is poor in the house, but you can find spots with a strong connection outside of the house.

We loved the stunning view from the house and the beautiful sunsets we enjoyed every evening. The size of the house was also a big plus—each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is perfect for a group. The kitchen and dining area are spacious enough for two families to cook and eat together comfortably. We also appreciated the ample seating in the garden, which made outdoor time really enjoyable. On top of that, the location is wonderfully quiet and remote, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
While the house itself has a nice microlocation, the wider surroundings weren’t quite what we expected. Due to the presence of thermal water sources in the region, there are many industrial-looking buildings and large chimneys nearby. It definitely didn’t have the Tuscan-like charm we had imagined.
The house is located near fields with cows, which led to a large number of flies around the property. Unfortunately, the house wasn’t clean upon our arrival—we spent about three hours cleaning it ourselves. There were spiders, a lot of dust, and dirty tiles in the bathroom.
The internet and mobile connection was weak and unreliable throughout our stay.
It’s also important to note that the property is divided into two separate units, each accommodating two families. This means up to four families can be staying on the property at once. This was not clearly communicated in the listing, and we were surprised—and confused—when we realized there would be other guests sharing the property. It seemed the other families were equally unaware.
There were also issues with the electricity. Whenever we used the stove or several appliances at once, the power would cut out. We had to repeatedly reset the system in the backyard, which became quite frustrating.
One of the bathrooms also had a leak coming from the upstairs unit. We contacted the host immediately, and while they responded and fixed the issue, the repairs took an afternoon and a morning, were noisy, and disrupted our rest and relaxation.
The pool is not next to the house—it's about 200 meters away. It’s fairly small and filled with what we assume is thermal water. Unfortunately, our kids didn’t enjoy it due to the specific smell and the discomfort it caused when swimming underwater.
