The location was a very short walk from Monastiraki metro. We could see Acropolis from our window. The restaurant by owners was perfect. Wonderful food, sitting outside watching the evening sky turn to night.

The hotel was in a very centrally located and safe area of Athens. The staff was responsive and friendly, which we appreciated whenever we had any issues. We also had a spacious balcony with a nice view. We also enjoyed the air conditioning, especially during the hot days in Athens :)
This may be out of the property's control, however, we dealt with a mosquito issue for majority of our stay. They did provide us with anti-mosquito mats, but they were not the most effective. Additionally, the toilet seat was broken and the shower didn't have a door, so water spilled onto the floors.

We were upgraded to this room, it was right in the absolute heart of Athens. We dropped our bags and walked straight to the base of the Acropolis and saw the whole city light up at sunset. The room was perfect for a night in Athens, and the staff who helped us with the booking were exceptional.
There was a roof top terrace but we couldn't access it, would have been nice, we tried with the keys in the bathroom but they didn't work. This really is a minor thing, but it's the only thing we can think of that we didn't like!

We liked the location and the price of the room and everything functioned well. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the shower was good.
The room is very small and barely has enough space to store two cases. The stairs up to the room are a narrow, tight metal-and-wood construction spiral staircase, which makes it difficult to carry cases and a rucksack up. Luckily, one of the staff helped us carry the biggest case up. There is a church bell right next to the room which is very load and starts at 7 am and continues to 11 pm. It will wake you during these hours. If you leave early you need to arrange help with the luggage.
