The place is a recently renovated ultra-luxury country farm house. Fantastic location with a great wide view over the valleys below and even Montserrat in the distance. I saw a wild deer grazing on the lawn the very first evening.
The house is huge and has all the facilities, complete with an extraordinary marble island /bar in the kitchen.
The place is very remote, 2km outside the nearest village of La Quar which does not have a grocery store or a bakery. Your only option is the Hostal Santa Maurici which is phenomenal but open only for lunch plus certain days for breakfast. I will not review the restaurant but apparently people drive from far away just to enjoy the quite extraordinary food here.
Given that the location is so remote, if you plan on cooking or you arrive there evening without having had dinner, then you need to bring food with you.
