The chalet is located a 715 meter walk from the Wengen train staton in a rural location with mountain views. Wengen is a car limited resort which is accessible by train from Lauterbrunnen. Taxis are available to hire in Wengen upon arrival.
Guests also enjoy access to the terrace on the ground floor with garden and dining space.

Uns hat das mit Liebe eingerichtete Chalet Irene sehr gefallen. Es liegt etwas außerhalb von Wengen und bietet dadurch im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes himmlische Ruhe und, bedingt durch die Lage, einen grandiosen Ausblick. Der Concierge Service ist absolut zu loben. Selbst bei Fragen spät am Abend und auch bei Kleinigkeiten wie eine defekte Glühbirne wurde sofort reagiert. Wir können also das Chalet Irene vorbehaltlos empfehlen.

The garden, the views, the location, the excellent oven, the downstairs bathroom, the boot and jacket area, the *exceptional* service by WhatsApp, fast WiFi.
The air vent at the bottom of the fridge is clogged with dust. There could be more space to hang 4 towels and a shower mat. Perhaps hooks on the backs of bedroom doors.
