Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Aufzug war ein grosse Erleichterung. Das Zimmer, der ehrwürdigen Immobilie entsprechend, war etwas kleiner aber sehr sauber und für den Preis komfortabel, das Bett sehr bequem. Das französisches Frühstück Bufett war komplett und lecker. Wir waren auf der Rückreise über die Gran d'Alpes und konnten unser Motorrad hinterm Gebäude sicher parken. In der Nähe gab es vier Restaurants/Bars. Wir wurden ermuntert die Pizzen mitzubringen und im Speisesaal zu essen. An der Bar gab es relativ preiswert Getränke.
Leider wird die Auberge bei booking.com als Hotel mit Pool geführt. Der Pool ist nicht im Betrieb und dies wohl schon länger. Wir hatten in Jausiers 37°C und hatten uns das vermeintliche Hotel wegen des Pools ausgesucht. Letztendlich entsprach der Preis von 69€ für ein DZ mit Dusche/WC und Frühstück einem sehr guten Preisleistungsverhältnis.
