About this villa rental
Van Engelenburg at Coral Estate offers a great variety of high standard luxury rental Villas all with modern conveniences for your absolute comfort during your holiday.
Relaxing and charming house with a private pool and stunning sea view. In the upscale neighborhood Coral Estate with 24-7 Security. Within walking distance to beautiful nature for great hiking, diving, snorkeling and enjoying the beautiful turquoise blue sea or relaxing at the charming, shady beach.
Only 15 driving minutes away from more of the most beautiful beaches and diving spots Curacao has to offer (over 25!). Great places to eat, have a refreshing drink, watch the flamingos, visit local artists, go horseback riding or buy some groceries within 15 minutes by car.
The historic and world-famous city center of Willemstad, the recently opened Sambil International shopping center and one of the 3 golf courses the island has to offer are within 30 minutes by car.
The house offers lots of privacy and lets you enjoy the beautiful view whether you relax in the living room, cool down under the windy enjoy the sun on the deck or take a plunge the pool.
You can enjoy the villa, garden and pool which offer a lot of privacy. The property lies on Coral Estate Beach Dive & Wellness Resort in a stunning natural environment. There is a beach which is part of the famous restaurant "Karakter". You can make use of the general pool with our bar & fine dining restaurant "Koraal".
For relaxation take a day to go to Spa "8 - the Experience". They offer treatments, massages and different saunas.

Our two families of 4 had a wonderful stay at Villa Blenchi over Christmas and New Year’s! The property was beautiful and we enjoyed many sunsets on the patio. The host was responsive to the few questions that I had, and this was a great home base to enjoy the amazing beaches on the west side of the island.

We absolutely LOVED our stay in Villa Blenchi! This is a stunning property that far exceeded expectations. The house is immaculate, the views are breathtaking and the nearby beaches are the best on the island! I plan to return and stay here again! My family LOVED it!!

The location was perfect for us as we wanted a location close to the beaches and not so busy. The villa is as pictured, but note that the 3 other bedrooms are below the main floor and all 3 rooms have separate doors to the outside (i.e. they are not connected to the main floor from the inside). This was fine for us as our kids are older and we don't need to check up on them. The kitchen was large and stocked with small aplliances (coffee makers, blenders, kettle...) and pots and pans and dining ware. We had everything we needed. Do bring insect repellent as there will be mosquitoes outside (and the dining table is outside).
The only drawback we encountered was during check-in: the wrong unit number was assigned to us by email, but we had booked the correct place. It was likely due to 2 properties being rented at the same time and we were emailed the wrong unit number. It did cause a bit of confusion but the security guards were very helpful and Daily (who works for the property manager) was extremely friendly when we made to our unit).
But overall, the unit is excellent understanding the room configuration, at a great location with restaurants onsite, and 25 minutes to groceries and Willemstad.

This villa was located in a safe gated community away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area. This meant it was a longer trip to find a restaurant, but the Coral Estates had three very nice restaurants on site.
We had issues with the power going off and had to get into the fuse box often. On the last day, we awoke to no water! Three of the bedrooms are accessed from outside only and the "outside " bathroom was unusable due to a horrible odor in the bathroom! Not good for families with young children as you can not get to them without going outside and down stairs with no railings...in the dark! I didn't like that thought. If the kids needed to use a bathroom in the night, they need to get out of their room, get to the bathroom all in the dark of night.
The upper main floor is beautiful, spacious and the pool was also nice, yet it was rather deep...again, not for young children. I am 5'2" and I couldn't touch the bottom of the pool.
There are no beach towels for the property, so we used the bath towels. I was surprised by that..... The dryer also didn't really work well, so we needed to use the drying racks and clothes line, but it was raining, so difficult to get clothes and towels to dry well.
Again, beautiful home, nice neighborhood, but definitely some issues. In the end, I won't visit Curacao again, because I also brought home Dengue Fever! Scary for two of our group who are quite ill. Bring bug spray!!!!!
