About this house rental

Our place is a 4 bd /3 bth newly renovated & beautifully decorated home within 5mi of all Austin has to offer. The house offers 2 PlayStations, 3 TVs with Roku, apple TV, Netflix, & ATT TV, business desk, women’s vanity, full working kitchen, washer & dryer, 2 living rooms, enclosed back yard with patio and bbq, king size bed in the master bedroom, bunk bed and trundle in 4th bedroom (which makes for a great kids room), 1 bedroom w/ queen bed, 1 bedroom w/ 2 twin beds, and 1 air mattress just incase. This is the perfect place for friends, families with kids, or business travelers looking for the perfect home away from home. The home only allows 10 ppl max. No parties allowed. . Also, we have a boat that fits 10-11 people including the captain, that we take people out on (3 hours minimum). You can wakeboard, wake surf, tube, go to party cove, or just swim and go for rides. If you would like more details please feel free to ask.

Spacious, bright, nice neighborhood. Host lives on same street. Pretty good location for exploring Austin. Slight negatives: Did not receive check-in information from host via VRBO prior to arriving. We had to call them from the driveway of the property to get the door code. They were very apologetic and it could have just been a glitch with VRBO. The backyard fence was falling apart which didn't look the greatest but, we weren't there to sit in the backyard anyway. If we were to visit Austin again, I would consider staying at this house again.

We had a guys weekend to watch a Longhorns game. It was a great property with plenty to do around the neighborhood, without breaking the bank.

It would be great to have the check in information by email, chat, or text in advance. My email only said, “Contact owner”. They weren’t the most responsive. And like the previous review, the booking process had me stressed because they had me looking for a place because they overbooke

The house was nice. Guest bathroom shower could use some help. Water turns on hard pointed directly out shower door and you can’t change it. The door doesn’t close all the way unless you slam it. Second bathroom only had cold water. The backyard was also not usable as it was covered with leaves and could have been raked.

Property is adequate. The disappointment stems from inattention and irresponsibility on the part of our “hosts.” It appears that a week before we were scheduled to arrive the owner attempted to revoke our agreement in order to lease to someone else. “Disappointing”glances off the surface of the anger and betrayal we felt. This did not work of course. Then when Lexy finally sent us the address, he sent the WRONG address! No response from him or his surrogate. Thankfully neighbors told us that he also owned the property across the street which indeed was the place we had rented. We received no apology, basically nothing. Fortunately we were in and had a great stay in Austin. Our hosts however failed totally.

The host was great, very responsive to questions. The house was nice, plenty of space and kid friendly. The neighborhood is quiet, not a lot of traffic, and convenient to everything we wanted to do in Austin. Overall, great rental and would stay there again given the opportunity.

We were in town for a conference. This is a quiet neighborhood, and it was perfect for what we needed. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with, and responded much more quickly than I ever would have expected. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

As soon as you walked in the home reeked of weed. Had to air out the house with all the doors open because it was so bad. Found a ball of hair in the kitchen sink. Empty condom wrapper on top of one of the beds. Missing tile from the bathroom. Poor water pressure in the front bedroom. And the showerheads look like they were about to fall off . Holes in the wall. Hand prints from dirt/and or make up on the wall. all the extra linens smelled of weed. The yard looks like it has not been taken care of in months. Wall outlets not working. The AC is not evenly distributed. One side of the house was really cold and the other side was really hot. A lot of house repair work needs to be done and a better housekeeper. A pretty decent location.

We found the place to be plenty accommodating for 8 adults. The main living space was large enough with enough seating for us to all be together without being on top of each. Neighborhood seemed fine. We didn’t hear any kind of nonsense in the neighborhood, there was No loud music, no screaming fools around us, which was nice to not have to deal with. Would stay there again in the future

This is a home that has had great updates and remodeling. Open space to move around so you don't feel crowded. The 3 full bathrooms are definitely a plus. If you know your way around South ans Central Austin, this is a great location.

During Icepocalypse 2023 we were desperate for a warm home with electricity - especially with an out-of-town friend who arrived in the middle of our power outage. We were thrilled that we were able to rent this home at the very last minute! The house was large, clean, and had plenty of beds for our family and friends who also lost power. We had a family girls weekend recently. The house is very comfortable and very similar to what the pictures show. Overall the beds were super comfortable and the house could very comfortably sleep 10 or more. The kitchen was well supplied and there were extras in the pantry if you forgot stuff. I would definitely recommend and would stay again if we were back in town.

We enjoyed our stay! King and queen beds were comfortable. We slept well both nights. Quiet neighborhood, near convenient stores and pharmacy. The house was clean and well equipped. The extra bedding and extra towels were disorganized and messy. Not a great impression. Also the guest handbook was in rough shape. Is it that difficult to update it with pages that aren’t ripped and crumpled with random information wrote all over the page? Communication with the hosts was slow and came off as a bit rude. It was a nice property though. I would still recommend it despite these minor issues.

We spent 3 nights at this property while we were in Austin for a wedding. It was very close to the wedding venue which was nice but I thought that the property should have been cleaner. The pillows on the sofa had stains. There was dirty water droplets on the bathroom trim near the door of the hallway bathroom. There was a take out food container in the back yard and a hanger in the front yard. It wouldn't take much effort to make this 5 star clean but it was not. The sheets were highly scented from the fabric softener used and if you are sensitive to smells, then this is not where you want to sleep.

Lexy was communicative throughout our experience. We are two families of 10 total including 4 adults and mostly young children. Upon arrival, we've noticed a bottle of wine. It was nice of her but we never got around to drinking it just because we were so busy for our short stay (2 nights). We ate at and visited so many cool places. The kids had a great time.

Stayed at this house with a group of 8 girls. The house had everything we needed, everyone got their own bed, and there was plenty of bathroom space. The house is clean and modern. There were some small issues that our host quickly resolved to our satisfaction. It's a short drive to downtown and we even enjoyed wine tasting in Dripping Springs. Overall pleasant stay.
