A very enjoyable stay and base from which to explore Wharfedale.

Self-catering cottage, place for everything, good shower with bath, comfortable bed, powerful radiators, off-road parking, nearby shop

No comfy easy chairs upstairs or down; a very low couch instead.

Lovely stay for a few nights hiking.

Very clean and comfortable cottage, with a lovely big bed! There's parking next to the cottage and hiking routes right from the doorstep. Lovely quiet area, with lovely views. The pub is also a 30 second walk from the door if you don't fancy cooking.

We liked everything about the cottage, it was immaculately clean and has everything you need! Bed was very comfy, and was nice to be able to sit in the yard. A few steps away is a pub, which does food! lovely walks up-to Embsay Cragg with stunning views.

Facilities were everything needed for a couple using the house as a base for exploring.

Very easy to use the heating and hot water. Extra large bed - great for stretching out. Well-equipped kitchen.

Relaxing break despite the rain which didn’t dampen the experience at all.

The cottage was cosy and exceptionally clean, with all the facilities you need for self catering. It’s proximity to Skipton ideal and with local pubs on the doorstep serving food.

Lovely after a day of walking to get back to the beautiful cosy cottage.

The location was great lots of walks from the doorstep. Short walk into town with plenty of public transport to more locations. We never moved our car, lovely relaxing holiday in a beautiful clean and cosy cottage. The owner Claire was very friendly and helpful, the scones she left us were lovely.

Weekend stay

Booked The cottage for the weekend due to work in the area the cottage was in a perfect location the quiet was much welcome after a long and busy day and the local pub a shirt distance was great to unwind in , spacious and comfortable all amenities were perfect cottage is well equipped and would happily book again

A peaceful break in a beautiful area.

Newly modernised with good use of available space, well equipped, clean and fresh throughout. Comfortable bed, log fire made house cosy. Great location for walks.
