The building is in a beautiful location between the 2 best beaches in Puerto Vallarta. There is a wonderful waterfront restaurant and bar on the property which has live music 2x/week.However it a 10-15 min. ride into town (Zona Romantica) so unless you have a car you must be prepared to take the local bus (just 10 pesos) or a taxi/Uber (about US$8). There are no stores nearby, just a small mini mart in the building for baics. You can get fresh veggies, fish meat in town. You need to make a special trip to Costco, Wallmart and/or a major supermarket for real supplies. That is at least 30 mins. away.
As far as unit 510, it needs a remodel. The bathroom was rusty everywhere. There is a shower head but the faucet on the bathtub is broken off. There is just a hole there. There is no glass on the bathroom window, just a screen. The bathroom pipes were clogged with hair and were backing up (had to have maintenance clean them) , the kitchen and bathroom sinks are leaking, the closet is dirty and does not have doors, the kitchen cabinets were dirty and the pots and pans greasy. Most units have beach chairs. Ours did not. I could go on, but at times we felt like we were glamping. It was the rest of the building and the people that made our stay so good, not the unit.
