Villa Orestis - Stoupa Seaside Retreats

2 bed apartment on mezzanine level with balcony overlooking rooftops down to the sea. (Not top floor but still good views, at back of the property facing the sea). Great location with easy 6min walk down to front, bakery and supermarket within walking distance (use the dirt track from the property which brings you out by the bakery on the main road). Very comfortable and clean. There is a cupboard on the mezzanine level that houses a washing machine and cleaning equipment if needed, we also left our luggage there on day of departure as we had a late flight home.

Communication with host could have been better, we were told to text when leaving airport and again when nearing Stoupa, which we did, but on arrival at 21:40 in the dark there was nobody to meet us as promised. We eventually found an apartment in the block with a key in the door that looked like the pictures of the one we'd booked so just assumed it was ours. Would have been nice if we'd been told the key had been left and that nobody was meeting us. Also numbers on the doors of apartments would be useful. Other points are that there are only 3 mugs but apt sleeps 5/6, cooker and hob weren't working but we realised that the trip switches needed resetting on the consumer unit, also the pipes under the bathroom sink are leaking, with a bowl underneath to catch the water (host adv via booking.com but nobody looked at it during our stay).

Kitchen could have been equipped better.

De ligging van het appartement, vlakbij bakker, restaurant en supermarkt. Wij hadden het appartement met 2 balkons, ontbijten in de zon op het ene balkon en genieten van de zonsondergang op het andere balkon.

Er was maar 1 kleine kookpan en 1 koekenpan. Dat vonden we erg karig. En een tip: een droogrek voor wasgoed is er niet, dat miste ik ook.

Ruim appartement, keuken compleet, goed bed, twee balkons, dus je kunt kiezen zon of schaduw. Locatie erg prettig want de bakker is 1 minuut lopen en de supermarkt 5 minuten. Restaurants 7 min lopen.

Wifi beetje traag en toevallig werkte de koelkast niet goed.
