About this house rental
This home, which sleeps 10, is perfect for a family or group gathering. Tranquility Base has 3 bedrooms (1 King downstairs, 1 King upstairs, and a 6-bed bunk room) The bunk room is equipped with a Roku TV - perfect for kids. Both bedrooms upstairs have direct access to the upper balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee and afternoon tea overlooking the peaceful cove. One full bath with tub/shower combo is located on each floor. You will find lots of outdoor space for entertaining, lawn games and large level parking area to accomodate multiple cars and boat trailers. Relax outdoors on the huge screened porch. A large private dock is great for fishing, sunning, and water activities. Bring your boat and launch it at a public boat ramp 5 minutes away. Conveniently, tie up at our private dock. Explore the lake with 3 kayaks available. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit, make smores and reflect on the day. The gas fireplace makes the home cozy in the winter months. The large kitchen is equipped with drip & K cup coffee maker, ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, electric stove, toaster, griddle, crock pot, blender, cooking utensils, dishes, and basic spices. Outdoor gas grill for barbecues. The dining table seats 8 comfortably for family dinners. Additional seating at kitchen bar or outdoor tables. Linens, bath towels, and initial paper products are provided. Beach towels are not provided.

Lisa was a wonderful host! I rented this place for my daughter's wedding nearby in Oakboro, and Lisa was so accommodating. She was able to work with us on the timing of check-in so that the bridesmaids could get ready before the rehearsal. Then she was able to work with us on the timing of check-out for the bride and groom after the wedding. The property was right on the lake, which offered a stunning backdrop for the morning of pictures while the bridesmaids and bride got ready! Thank you so much!!

We booked this beautiful home for our Easter weekend 2026, and it was an excellent decision. The house is truly beautiful and spacious. The lovely flowers in the garden are stunning, and there is a wonderful fire pit that we enjoyed immensely while watching the beautiful sunsets.The house features porches on both the ground floor and the upper floor—the perfect spot for enjoying morning coffee. The home is very spacious; it can easily accommodate several people. We all slept wonderfully, as the beds are all excellent. Fir the fishing people, let me share that my husband fulfilled a dream, as he was able to catch more fish here than anywhere else—and believe me, we have rented quite a few lakeside homes! According to my daughter and son, the room with the bunk beds, sofa, and big TV is a relaxing spot for kids. The living room was very comfortable, featuring some very nice sofas. The kitchen is spacious, as is the dining area. I cooked many meals there, and my husband used the gas grill one evening. I really loved the home's decor, especially the giant clock on the wall near the entrance. The owner Lisa is such kind person, very attentive and helpful. Thanks Lisa for sharing your home with us. Everything was wonderful. We absolutely loved every single thing about this stay and we hope to return soon. I give it 10 stars! It was a lovely place to rest and reconnect with mother nature.
