About this house rental

This luxury vacation home sleeps up to 12 and features 150 feet of lakefront! The Private covered electric boat dock can accommodate 2 boats.
This split level house has 2 bedrooms upstairs with amazing lake and island views, and a bunkie downstairs. The bunkie sleeps 8 with 4 full size beds and plenty of drawer and closet storage. There is room for 5 cars.
The dock includes a diving board and the bay is perfect for all watersports.
The outdoor space is amazing with lounge seating, a dining area and umbrella's. Enjoy the outdoor heaters, BBQ and fireplace while you watch the sunset over the mountains.
The house has a fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, blender, microwave, cooktop with griddle and dishwasher. It is stocked with ample cookware, plates, cups, glasses and silverware, sheets, pillows and towels.

This place was amazing. Everything you can think of was available at the house. The boat dock made it extremely easy to keep our fishing boat right at the house the whole time. The road getting in was a little narrrow and tight but we mamaged just fine. Everyone was extremely friendly in the neighborhood. This was an unforgettable honeymoon trip, we hope to celebrate it here every year now. Thank you to our amazing hosts for allowing us to stay an extra day

Lovely well stocked house. Access to the water via a play dock where we could launch our own kayaks.Very pretty and peaceful over thanksgiving. With a well stocked kitchen for preparing thanksgiving dinner.We also managed to get door dash from a few restaurants which was great.

We lived, and grew up in the Kelseyville area. Our family rented 3 houses on Willow. Hanging out cooking, paddling around, and some fishing, and visiting; it was a special experience.

The house is at a beautiful and peaceful location, right on the lake. Deck in the backyard is really nice to enjoy the lake, its beauty and warm weather (during spring and summer). We also used the paddle boat they have, and my kid loved it. Will definitely recommend others to come and enjoy this property. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of housekeeping. The house had spider webs in lot of places, dirt on the corners, soap or detergent not refilled. Bottom room’s heater won’t really heat up the room (the top bunk bed becomes warm but the bottom bed remains cold). Past that, we enjoyed our stay every much.

The view itself was worth every penny, but it was very well suited for my family. We had dogs, and kids that wanted to fish. So it was perfect! Only a 20 min drive to Clearlake state park where we had a couple of wonderful hikes. The views at night and in the morning were priceless. It was an amazing time. The neighbors were all very sweet as well.

my siblings and our partners spent the weekend on the lake for my sister's birthday. we are able to hang out and just enjoyed ourselves. the backyard space and seating area was perfect as we sat around the fire pit. the home met all our needs. the queen bunks were perfect and allowed everyone to have a comfortable place to sleep.

Although the check in process could have been smoother- the view and the cleanliness of the house made it all worth it! The area was so peaceful. The view was breath taking and simply people watching from the kitchen table was all we needed. We were able to catch two BIG catfish! (16lbs and 11lbs) If you are looking for a little escape from technology and the day to day rush. This Vrbo is highly recommended! The whole time we were discussing when we should come back. Amazing place, highly recommended!!

We had 4 adults, 2 kids & dogs, whom all enjoyed a fun 5-night stay at The Perch. Soda Bay was lovely, quiet and serene, with lots of great nature watching. Look out for the Osprey nest on the telephone pole right out front! The boat lift was not available (owner’s boat occupied) and we thought it would be, but there are whips on one side of the dock, which worked out. Overall, we had a great stay, but only caught one bass fish, despite going out daily. We hope to return to The Perch at Soda Bay one summer. Thank you!

Although the fishing wasn’t that great, the stay was wonderful. We ran into a couple of mishaps due to the storm but all was resolved and had a several great days to enjoy the lake. We kayaked, fished, and used the paddle boat that was there. It was a wonderful stay overall. We all had a great time. It was plenty stocked with cookware, utensils, linens and plenty of room for sleeping and seating. The deck was wonderful. We enjoyed the outdoor areas. We would definitely stay again. Thanks Joe for checking in with us as well.

Took my family here and everyone had such an amazing time! Home is well cleaned and stocked with everything you may need. The views were amazing, fishing was great, the kayak and paddle boat were super fun additions to the lake house. Would definitely recommend families, friends and others to stay here. Hosts were great and responsive as well!

The Wonderful Perch

We really enjoyed this property, which is a tri-level home with very different living spaces on each floor. The deck in the back is fabulous, as are the views from the top and middle floors. The Perch is well appointed in all regards, e.g. bedding, towels, kitchenware, a BBQ grill, kayaks, a long kitchen table with a fantastic causal bench, and etc. The only minor note I would include in an otherwise splendid long weekend is that the street entry from the main road is a bit narrow and winding. You will likely want to bring your SUV as we had to dodge pick ups, trash trucks and other vehicles getting in and out of the property. Having said that though, we made it through in fine fashion and really enjoyed our time here. We would return for sure, and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a lake front experience for groups either large or small. Thanks so much!

I usually don't like to leave any negative comments but these are facts about the house. Outside entrance of the house had many spider webs full of mosquitos and the main door doesn't have screen door same goes for back door that connects to back patio. Furniture of the living room is not the same as pictures, the layout and couches had been change with a totally different decor taste. Outside patio had only two umbrellas pictures show three and one was broken on arrival I had to fix it myself with some tape. Recliners seat were not cover like one picture show and the whole patio furniture kayaks and pedal boat were cover with bird poop. So be ready to do some cleaning. Inside the house had some ants problems . Kitchen stove looks very old and air extractor had spider webs. We also found more spider webs in kitchen ceiling and living room . The bed covers they provide are very thin and kind of small for my taste. Not enough cleaning supplies (we couldn't find any pan duster ) like other houses have. Overall is a nice location and we had fun but I feel they should upgrade the pictures if they going to change the furniture and they should also try to do better with outside patio like covering furniture or store cushions so they don't get cover in bird poop. Owners are great very nice people thank you and they response very fast Very nice next door neighbor very friendly ......

Since our trip to Tahoe was axed due to the AQI up there we did a relatively last minute trip up to clear lake. The house was perfect for a quick fishing trip. The house itself was exactly as advertised (but bring bug spray in the summer). Super clean and comfortable. Took the kayaks out to the point and caught a couple big bass. Was a lot of fun.

Great spot on the lake. Beautiful views with a wonderful deck overlooking the lake. Includes a boat dock too. Place was clean and enough room for all of us. Neighbors and owner were more than helpful and friendly. I’d definitely go back to this place but at a different time of year when you can actually swim in the lake.

What an amazing family vacation! Owners were extremely accommodating and attentive to our needs. The house is BEAUTIFULLY decorated, stylized, and very clean. Access to the lake is immediate. Just jump off the dock from the diving board, Or proceed gingerly from the dock ladder. Don’t be deterred by the algae, be brave, the water is refreshing! So much fun, we will be back!

GOOD: Place was clean with enough space for all. Kitchen was a bit awkward to use (stove in a hard to use area). Large clean fridge. Had a wonderful time with family. Beautiful sunset views. Comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms. Not enough storage space in Downstairs room with the 4 bunk beds. Deck was too windy too enjoy during our visit. BAD: Headboard not attached and fell hitting head, leaky kitchen sink causing water on the floor, no working blender, coffee pot was not working , only saw 1 hand towel, 2 rolls of TP (1 per bathroom, 1/2 roll of paper towels (per ad, this was to be provided) and not enough forks. Kitchen towels would be a good idea. Also, we brought our boat since a boat dock fitting 2 boats was advertised, however, owners boat was parked there and we had to work around it. Outside grounds were weedy and concrete walkway was uneven. In general, outside not as kept up as inside.

This property was everything we hoped for. The location on the lake was perfect for our fishing trip, being right in the middle of the lake. The house was exactly like the pictures. We had a couple questions on day one and the owners were extremely fast in replying and answering our questions. Access to the property is a little narrow if you’re towing a trailer, but we managed. Overall this place is a 10/10. Can’t wait to book it for our next trip.

My family and I were overjoyed with our stay at The Perch. Fireball Joe and Lauren were easy to talk to and accommodating hosts. This house offers amazing views in the living room, dining room and two of the bedrooms. The boat dock is easy to use and access. The driveway leading to the house is quite narrow if you are trailering a boat, just as a heads up. Overall a great experience and look forward to renting this property again in the future.

We had an amazing time at the Perch celebrating my mom’s birthday over the holiday weekend. The owners were very responsive and helpful, they gladly provided local recommendations and property/lake tips. The property is very well manicured and extremely clean which we were thrilled about. They seriously thought of everything in this house! It was well stocked with cleaning supplies, kitchen gadgets and linens- they even had extra propane and wood chopped for the fireplace. The views were incredible and although we didn’t have the best weather, it was nice enjoying coffee on the deck and fishing from the doc. Unfortunately the water was pretty rough so we didn’t get a chance to take the boats out -or catch any fish - but it was amazing just being outdoors none the less. You can tell they took great thought and spent a lot of money on the docks to make them enjoyable! The neighbors were also very welcoming- huge plus! The latch on the sliding glass door was busted/taped shut, so we had to use the outside stairs to access the balcony but that is easily fixed. The only other recommendation we have is the addition to blackout curtains in the upstairs bedrooms. The motion lights form the neighbor’s property light up the whole room all night. If you’re a light sleeper, just remember to pack an eye mask. 10/10 would stay here again! Thanks for having us!!
