Perfect situation for several of us that were in the area for work. Owner is quick to respond and very accommodating. Not a super bougie place, but very clean, great sized rooms, plenty of parking, very quiet area and an easy drive into Hammond as well as Baton Rouge.
It's best to arrive when it's still light out, it is pretty dark out there and a little hard to see/find the first time. Probably not a big deal to most, but I had to buy wine glasses and the soap in the bathroom ran out by the second day.

The place was as advertised. It was easily accessible and spacious. I enjoyed the stay, with the exception of not getting much sleep because the smoke detector beeped constantly throughout the night.
At least one of the smoke detectors in the place beeped constantly throughout the night, and the ceilings are so high that I couldn't reach it. I was traveling and got this place for a good night's rest, but that didn't happen. I checked in very late in the day, so I did not disturb the host. However, when I alerted him of the issue he next day, hoping for some quality customer service or accommodation, he just stated they would fix it for the next guest. I ended up staying in the area longer than I anticipated and booked somewhere else. I also thought the place could have been a little cleaner, especially the bathrooms.
