The living area was beautiful! enjoyed coffee from deck each morning.. very peaceful. House was clean overall.. although the deck furniture and glass tables did need to be cleaned nothing major for my gang .. wiped them off and went on with the day.. lol.. it was so nice to come back to a comfy space verses a hotel room.. we love TN.. hated to leave…

This property was as described in the listing. Although itis a little out of town, the drive is not difficult. The view of the woods from the two decks is very nice, and wildlife, including bears, are definitely present! The large basement with pool table, game table, and large bedroom with three beds was perfect for three teenage girls, who also enjoyed the hot tub just outside on the lower deck.

Cabin was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. Plenty of towels, but no wash cloths. Fireplace and hot tub worked great. Major issue was returning to cabin and meeting a very large snake in the game room. Response from management was almost non-existent and only via text messages. The reply was a constant ‘our team is working on it’. Around 2 hours in, I determined that although the snake was large, it was non-venomous. Using a broom, I was able to sweep the snake out onto the deck through an open door. There were several pauses when the snake moved under furniture or beds, but I managed to finally sweep him through the door and off the balcony. We had two nights left on our rental, so we stayed, but every return to the cabin began with a thorough check of both floors for my wife’s peace of mind. Cabins and wildlife go hand in hand, and my only concern was the lack of response from the management team. Had I determined the snake to be venomous, we would have left and demanded a refund. In the end, we enjoyed our stay, but I doubt I would return.
