I’ll be back.

Tracy was great in getting in contact as we travelled and was there to meet us when we arrived. The place was well set up and she was super helpful.

It was a little difficult to control the heating. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet.

The best in Cambridge

We have stayed at Marino Place many times over the past 15 years or so. For a long time it was not available for short stays or was too expensive. Seeing a flat was available for the three days we were in Cambridge, I booked it. The location is superb. A short walk across Jesus Lock Bridge, Jesus Green and through Portugal Pace takes you to the City Centre. The No. 4 bus to and from the bus station stops right outside Marino Place. Walking in the other direction Kettle's Yard (an art gallery) and Magdalene Bridge are both very close. There is parking available for £10 a day or there is free parking available overnight alongside the River Cam. Flat 1 on the ground floor where we stayed appeared to have had a refit since last we stayed in it. CityStay let us have a late checkout which was most appreciated. If you see a flat available at Marino Place and it is within your budget - book it. You will not be disappointed.

There was a problem with the plug in the washbasin in the bathroom as it would not move to release used water. The remote control for the TV didn't work. New batteries restored some life to the remote, but all I got was a promise that the washbasin would be fixed before the next occupants. Minor irritations.

Home feel, clean, good location

Convenient location, well designed unit and functional with all electrical appliances esp the washing machine and dryer combo. Meticulously clean, the third floor got a view, good temperature control in winter, the bed is very comfortable and the enormous couch make the room very homely.

Close to a busy road so starts to have noises in the early morning. A pair of ear plugs will be useful.

How to see Camnridge in comfort

Excellent location and accommodatiom. Very comfortable and with all amenities. Staff were friendly and provided excellent service, calling me when we were running a little later, and sending by WhatsApp all the information we could need to access the property.

Nice apartment in good location.

Check-in instructions were good. Apartment was perfect for two people. Location excellent for city centre. Lovely big park literally across the road for running, walking,cycling, punting.

Lots of items promised in the welcome pack were not there ie orange juice, flapjacks, crisps, bread & preserves. There was milk, water, biscuits, tea,coffee, & sugar. It would be better not to promise items that can't be supplied. No pots & pans for cooking (we had to buy a set). A pint glass would be nice for anyone who wants a beer in a proper glass.

It was a pleasant stay overall!

Excellent location in terms of being central. It was well equipped and modern. I liked that shampoo, shower gel and kitchen staples such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk and bottled water were provided. It was clean.

There was some minor traffic noise. The layout of the apartment was a little unusual with the bathroom and bedroom at either ends of the unit but it was workable!

Great service

We didn't actually stay at Marino. There was an issue with the apartment shower leaking. The woman who met us (didn't catch her name) sorted us out with an upgrade in a different part of town Midsummer Mews. Beautiful apartment, fairly central. Would definately use City stay again.

The location was excellent a relatively quiet suburban area but still just a few minutes walk in to the town and a bus stop only a few meters away from the front door.

Great location, comfy bed but a few maintenance issues needing attention.

Some feedback; In the living area, all the blinds were in need of repair or replacement as they either didn't work or had bits falling off. The kettle needed descaling as our tea didn't taste nice at all. The shower head and toilet cistern in the bathroom both dripped constantly when off. There was no power point next to a mirror for using a hair dryer. If not for the maintenance issues, we would have scored higher.

Loved this place for its location and facilities.

Located just outside the Town Centre near the Cam River. Ground floor had a private courtyard. Close to shops pubs and restaurants. We had adjacent parking which was very convenient.

Being adjacent to the ring road meant that traffic noise was an issue if the courtyard doors and windows were open.

The environment was great, and there’s a lovely garden on the ground floor. The location is excellent—very convenient for getting around and close to the River Cam. The facilities were well-equipped, with everything we needed, including a dryer. They also thoughtfully provided salt, pepper, coffee, and plenty of tea. Overall, a very comfortable stay!

The bed was a bit too soft for my preference—if it were a little firmer, it would have been perfect.

Great space, well equipped, excellent location.

A few areas of cleaning were missed, remote didn’t work on the TV and shower dripped loudly the whole time but if you left in the shower tray it was fine.

The team meeting us on arrival did everything to help us when there was some trouble with keys. Cleanliness was very good and everything in the apartment worked without resorting to manuals. The location was reasonably quiet but only 5 minutes walk to the top end of Cambridge central
