About this house rental
Welcome to our vacation home! Newly built in December 2019, Riverview Cottage is located in the heart of downtown New Buffalo in a quiet and quaint neighborhood. Our house is on a deadend street overlooking the Galien River marsh with great sunset views. You can walk to everything - just a few blocks from restaurants (Stray Dog, Redamaks, etc), the local grocery store, shops, and public beach. Close to the casino, wineries, and breweries of Harbor Country. Spend the day at the beach or hang out at our private heated association pool just steps from the house. This house is beautifully decorated and designed for large group vacations. Our house has a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with a dining table that seats 12 comfortably, a living room with large TV and gas fireplace, a fun and relaxing basement which includes a large TV, card table, and gorgeous custom wet bar. Relax with a cocktail on the covered front porch or chill out with a book on the enclosed back patio. Our backyard includes an outdoor dining table, a gas grill, a fire pit, and an outdoor shower. Everything you would need to build wonderful memories with friends and family!

The host Dan helped us a great deal and was a wonderful communicator. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to prepare many nice meals. The bed linens and the mattress were extremely comfy. Your can tell Dan didn’t cut any corners on the towels and linens which made a big difference. This is not just a rental house it felt like a home. We had three families from three cities met here for a family vacation and New Buffalo did not disappoint. The community pool was very convenient for our family with littles. We will definitely pick this house again.

We had a wonderful stay here! It was close to town and an easy walk anywhere we wanted to go! I have to comment on the quality and condition of the kitchen provisioning! The cookware, pots, dishes, silverware was fabulous, best anywhere I've stayed! The beds are extremely comfortable too. Highly recommend

The location was great and it was a nice house. Cleaning was not up to par. Our granddaughter’s toy rolled under the couches and it was not clean and the cushions could be pulled out and cleaned. There was a pile of clothes in the closet when we got there so they must not have cleaned the closet. The mattresses on the pull out couches were very thin. Would have felt like sleeping on springs so we got a blow up mattress. The one downstairs had a huge stain on it like someone had soiled it and the couch upstairs had a big stain on the cushion. I put my personal blanket on it so my grandchildren wouldn’t have to sit one it. The best feature is the location. You could walk anywhere.
