Korinas Cottage: Stone cottage close to the beach

It is a beautiful house in a beautiful Agni village and bay. First it is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable 2-person stay. Kitchen has everything you need. It had some really nice welcoming details, including beach towels, basic groceries including spices, oil and pasta with sauce was even available. Also some welcome treats were there (local candies and honey). More importantly it is 100 steps from the beach in a peaceful bay. One of the most tranquil beaches in this area of Corfu that gives you the right surrounding to relax. View from the beach on rising hill with cypress trees is so soothing and a nice memory already.

There are a couple of small details that would make the stay perfect, however still it was amazing. Lighting in the house could be better. As windows are small and there are no light bulbs on the ceiling, when you spend longer time in, it feels quite dim. All appliances are fully functional, while some are a bit worn out (AC is noisy sometimes and drips water on the inside, fridge and water heater look a bit rusty. Lastly it is not a complete house, as there is a single room in the separate area within the same building that is separately rented, which is not a problem on its own. However for a couple of nights it made it difficult to sleep. Not sure if the walls are that bad at isolating sound or the English people were that intoxicated and louder than normal, so we had to put up with their loud activities and conversations

The location was perfect—just a 1 minute walk to the beach while still feeling quiet and private. The stays on the beach front lacked privacy. Being so close meant we could easily pop back to the cottage whenever we wanted. The private parking was a great bonus. The seafood restaurants were incredible, and the beach was much quieter than others we visited around Europe. We also loved that sunbeds were optional, with plenty of free space to lay out a towel.

Not a lot! More cooking essentials would be appreciated. With only 3–4 tavernas nearby, we wanted to cook some meals, but there was no olive oil, salt, pepper or coffee. The only nearby coffee was €4.50 each, so it would have been nice to make one at home. Thankfully, the taverna next door gave us some basics.

Loved the cottage. Loved Karinas kitchen. A cafe bar that was great for breakfast and snacks. Staff were exceptional.

Not one shop. One of the tavernas on the beach was very overpriced and lacked authenticity.

Away from the noise of the tavernas and very conveniently situated for the beach. Agni is a lovely little bay.
