About this house rental
The house is a 2 bedroom 1 bath and office with a futon. Nicely set up for you to enjoy your stay. We have everything you need to cook or BBQ,Hot Tub, DVDs and games. The house is 4 miles outside the gates to Mt. Rainier right off hwy 706 E. Really close to restaurants and shops. The lakes and trails are with in 10 miles at most away. Wake up in the woods and enjoy a coffee with a nice walk by the river or just around neighborhood. We have room for RV parking if needed for your friends. Thanks

Greg & Kathy were amazing hosts to work with...made every effort to simplify check-in and check-out process and iron out any wrinkles. Accommodation was convenient & quiet; huge couch in main room was a great place for gathering.
Teens enjoyed hot tub.

I was excited to find Kathy's place available as the other place we were looking at required a 3-night minimum & we wanted to split our time between being in the mountains and Seattle We enjoyed our time here with its proximity to Mt Rainer. The area was super quiet and relaxing. A hot tub was on my list of must-haves for our time in Ashford and it was clean & very relaxing. Kathy was a great host and was quick to respond if we had questions.

The location, only a few minutes from the entrance to MRNP is excellent. The home was comfortable and well stocked. Even things like toilet paper, ziplocs, paper towels, blow dryer, and even a first aid kit were provided, which really goes above and beyond what’s expected at most rental properties.

The house is very close to the park. It was quiet at night, except for the hot tub under one of the bedrooms. I’m a very light sleeper and it bothered me, however, I switched to the other bedroom for the rest of the stay and it was quiet.
The house was ok. There was plenty of space, but it was very dark. It was clean enough, but nowhere near spotless. The washing machine smelled of mildew.
Kathy was a responsive host.
