Exceptional
The property is located just outside of town. Which makes a quiet getaway. There is a convenient walking path into town which is a 15 min walk. Accommodations are clean, fully equipped and had modern stylish feel. The patio has a great view of the valley and is the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening dinner. The kids loved chilling on the hammock. Private gated parking is available. Corina made our stay pleasurable and answered any questions we had promptly. We travel to borgotaro annually and will definitely be on our list of places to return to.

Casa Valtaro: An excellent place for those who love the outdoors.
The apartment is spacious and has a well-equipped kitchen with all necessary items available. Also the bathroom is spacious and the shower was very good. The cleaning of the apartment was excellent. Parking was possible within the fence of the house. The wifi works well. Netflix and Amazon Prime are available on the TV. The apartment has a terrace with a beautiful view over the valley of the Taro. There is a BBQ, a gazebo with a big dining table and a sitting area on the terrace. The center of the village is just over two kilometers away. It is possible to walk along the river to the village. The center of Borgo Val di Taro is definitely worth a visit. It is possible to take a hike in the area right from the house. Within a radius of half an hour by car there are many options for hiking and mountain biking. Among these there are a couple of locations that are at a considerable altitude (> 1200m) which means that these locations are also suitable for summer excursions (for example Monte Molinatico) We experienced the hosts as businesslike and proactive. (We really appreciated the fresh free range eggs that we got almost every day!)
We have experienced the furnishing inside the apartment rather minimal on some aspects. To mention some: it is not possible to see regular TV channels on the TV-set and the lighting was rather sparse; there were no chairs in the bedrooms (although there was a lot of space).

Sehr angenehmer und erholsamer Aufenthalt. Kommen gerne wieder
Geräumige, helle und sehr saubere Wohnung. Küche und Bad sehr gut ausgestattet. Modern und liebevoll eingerichtet. Ein Pavillon mit Esstisch im Freien sowie eine Gartenlounge laden zum gemütlichen Ausruhen und Essen im Freien ein. Aussicht auf die umliegenden Wälder und Borgo Val di Taro. Unser Host Corina war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Bei Ankunft standen lauter kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten und sogar frische Eier vom eigenen Hühnerhof zur Verfügung.
Es gibt nichts was uns nicht gefallen hat.
